route 66 birthday cake topper

For her husband’s (route) 33rd birthday, Virginia Barrera of Amador de Parties created this super awesome Vintage Garage Birthday Party in – where else?! – their garage! I just love all of the creativity used to keep this party budget-friendly… like the Dollar Tree pizza pan signs & free tires collected throughout her neighborhood for starters! And since Alfonso loves old Chevy trucks, you’ll find miniature versions sprinkled throughout… even a few hauling Chex party mix in the back! ;)

PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

– Tire welcome sign, dessert table stand, tire style chocolate cake & miniature tire centerpieces
– Make your own specialty hot dog bar & Frito Pie on the go + Sweet Tea Motor Oil & Antifreeze Lemonade
– Red & blue macarons, cake pops & vintage truck printables + snack filled tool boxes
– Route 33 cake topper, retro gas station logo decor & filled paper wrench party favors

new york city birthday party

From the skyscrapers and fresh pretzels to the taxi cabs and liberty chips, Bingham’s party screams “I Heart NY”! Brandy Rammel of Pretty Plain Janes captured the lively city for her son’s New York City First Birthday Bash with playfully inspired graphic invitations and one of the cutest photo booths around – complete with a DIY Empire State Building prop/picture display. There are so many creative, bustling, bold city “sites” and street fare eats that I’m suddenly craving an NYC style slice (of pizza!) right about now!

PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

– “Welcome To NYC” chalkboard sign + Empire State building with window square pictures
– Giant photo booth pizza prop, broadway sign, hot dog and taxi cab cutouts
– Fondant skyscraper cake and taxi cab topped smash cake + rad bright red dresser dessert table
– DIY cardboard box skyscraper buildings & First Avenue Tattoo Shop with “I Heart NY” tats
– Fresh pretzels, “Bingy’s Weenie” hot dogs & “Liberty Snack” potato chips

kids summer party

Whether you’re at the beginning of the season or nearing the end, nothing says SUMMER like a party with balloons, fruits and a *refreshingly* cute dessert table! Speaking of which, Natalie Grant of BOOMBALOO & Cindy Dueck of Confetti & Sparkle Party Shop dreamed up this chic & colorful, pineapple-bedecked SUMMER Kids Party this year, which was beautifully captured by Kristel Danielle.

The team mixed yellow and white stripe table runners with flamingo cookies, fruit balloons (Cindy has so many different cute balloons in her shop, like this one and this one.) and more on-trend party inspiration that makes me wish summer weather and style would stick around all year long!

PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

– Yellow and white sunray and scalloped napkins + bright stripe table runners
– Wooden crate risers, mini floral arrangements & pineapple dessert table decorations
– Adorable pineapple and flamingo cookies from Love Sugar + yummy sprinkle donuts and layered cake
– Playful watermelon, unicorn & gold “SUMMER” letter mylar balloons
– Whimsical pineapple fruit bowls, blue Jones sodas and favor-filled berry baskets

teen girl's movie birthday party

Lights, camera.. ACTION! Adria Ruff of party powerhouse Anders Ruff styled this delightfully spunky Outdoor Movie Night Birthday Party for her 13 year-old daughter, Brynne. What more could a girl want than an evening filled with yummy snacks, a movie under the stars, and her closest friends, right? (The adorable DIY fabric-embellished flip-flops are a nice added bonus though!) I think even the critics would agree that these girls look like they had SUCH a blast – I’d say that’s mission accomplished, Mom. ;)

PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

– Colorful tea light lanterns & comfy lounge chairs, & clever DIY palette coffee table
– Jelly Belly concession stand, guessing game, and “taste test” activity
– Mini soda pop bottles in a vintage soda crate + flavored popcorn buffet
– DIY fabric embellished flip-flops for each guest + matching fabric fringe garlands
– Coordinating monogrammed shirts, pillows & totebags from Great Stitch
– Cupcake decorating contest + an awesome outdoor projector to watch the movie
