PARTY DETAILS, as told by Dona…
It was absolutely awesome working with Ami Desai, host of #ownshow on Oprah.com, fellow mom and blogger bringing her vision to life!
What a wonderful little party to celebrate all things bohemian chic, bringing the Coachella Valley vibes to the coast of Redondo Beach. We transformed Redondo Beach Bay Club into a Coachella haven, with an infinite experience of music, cool vibes and boho-chic backdrops to liven the day.
Guests were greeted with an entry ticketing booth where VIP wristbands granted full access to the party. Kids and adults alike were given hippie shades and flower crowns to adorn their tresses. Festival treats and sweets were setup at the Snack Shop, while hippie beats of a live music band set the stage to the Coachella themed party. Activities were focused on bohemian themed fun, with hair braiding stations full of beads and gold leaf adornments, to Happy Tatts featuring metallic flash tattoos and flower face painting.
A simple confetti cake from Susie’s Cakes stood tall against a dreamcatcher backdrop, with a super chic TeePee Photobooth at the center of all the fun. An Ice Cream truck was a sweet cool down to this sun glistening party on the green. Favors included various flip flops for happy feet to be on their way…
