We have been loving the jungle themed parties lately… and this one has an unexpected twist! What’s the perfect way to add some glamour and pizzazz to a girly jungle animal birthday? Throw in some BLING! Juliet Boydstun of the COOP did just that for this creative “Jewelry Jungle” Glam Wild Animals Birthday Party, styled in celebration of a little girl that loves dress up and jungle animals. With rustic burlap, sparkly cocktail jewelry and lush pink blooms, this incredibly fun party (which was beautifully captured by Greg Fiore Photography) has a little something for everyone!
PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:
– Burlap elephant draped with bright pink chunky necklaces & elephant teapot centerpieces with pink flowers, cocktail rings & pearls
– Blue sprinkle cake pops & pink sprinkle rice krispies + pink lemonades draped with candy necklaces
– Pink & blue tablescape + a sweet pink tulle birthday girl party dress & pink feather decorated party hat
– Jungle animal, butterfly & flower topped cupcakes & a pink giraffe topped jungle vine smash cake
PARTY DETAILS as told by Juliet…
This was a party I did for a client. The mom said that her daughter LOVED Jungle animals and dress up, but she just didn’t quite know how to incorporate BOTH for her party. I had a flash of brilliance and I blurted out, “How ’bout a Jewelry Jungle party?” — and this gorgeous party was born.
Mom chose a color scheme of pink and turquoise, which was great because I happened to already own these darling elephant teapots in those exact colors! I used the teapots as vases for flowers (which I do at home) and drizzled the flowers with costume jewelry. So cute. I also hand painted a giant giraffe and elephant on canvas, which we also adorned with jewelry.
I also got to use my absolute favorite dip dyed pink ombre tablecloths (they are actually painters drop cloths that I dyed!!) I used a bit of burlap — as I always love a bit of burlap — especially for a Jungle soiree. I put vases in burlap bags and leopard ribbons and also brought my burlap elephant from home as decor (I kind of LOVE elephants!!) That necklace I put on the elephant is one of my personal faves to wear. Polka dot and tie dye balloons kept the color scheme going. I adorned the pink lemonade cups with candy necklaces, which the kids LOVED.
We had a special performance by TWINKLE TIME, who got all the little Jungle friends to get up and dance!! Everything turned out so beautiful!
