{Adorable!} Sound the Alarm Firehouse Birthday Party

{Adorable!} Sound the Alarm Firehouse Birthday Party

Jennifer Shah of The Pear Events fired up her team to create this incredibly creative (and super stylish!) Sound the Alarm Firehouse Birthday Party for her son. After rescuing {toy} kitties from trees and adopting plush Dalmations from Spot’s Bounce House, these junior fire fighters got to try their skills out on some REAL firefighter equipment… from riding in the truck and practicing with the water hose to sounding the alarm – of course! ;)

PARTY HIGHTLIGHTS to look for:

– Diamond plate metal sheet backdrop (just like a real fire truck!) + vintage fire truck cake topper
– Fire hydrant cookies, ‘smoked & soot’ covered Oreo truffles & ‘Ladder High’ whoopie pies
– Dalmatian spotted macarons + adorable ‘adopt a Dalmation’ party favors
– Fireman boot centerpiece, toy fire trucks & ‘rescue packs’ at every place setting

PARTY DETAILS as told by Jennifer
:

IT’S ALEXANDER’S 3RD BIRTHDAY! When my son became a huge fan of watching the fire trucks passing by, I knew we had an awesome theme to his upcoming party.

Dessert Table: Thinking of the fire truck, I knew I wanted the backdrop to have the diamond plate metal sheets and lights. And That’s A Good Sign made the perfect backdrop for our dessert table: with caution stripes and real working lights. The dessert table was filled with sweet treats as well as favors. ‘Dalmatian Dot’ Macarons, ‘Fire & Rescue’ Sugar Cookies, ‘Ladder High’ Whoopie Pies, ‘Smoke & Soot’ Oreo Truffles, ‘Firehouse Smokin’ Hot’ Pie Pops and a Fire Truck Cake were sweet treats our guests enjoyed that afternoon.

Party Favors: And Hershey Kisses in Water Buckets, Gummy Treats in bags, ‘So Hot, it’s Cool’ Rainbow Loom Bands Tubes, ‘Crazy Fire’ Caramel Apples, ‘Add Some Heat’ S’mores Kits and ‘Great Balls’ of Fire Candy Tubes were favors the kids took with them. The babies in our group all received a personalized bag and fire truck pajamas. Adult favors like Stop the Burn sun block, Some Like it Hot Tabasco Sauce and Sound the Alarm Lip Balm were set out for our guest that didn’t have children. Everyone got goodies!

Table: Each place setting was set with tire like plates and topped with a toy fire truck. Fireman boots and signs were the centerpiece of each table and on their seats hung a personalize bag that read, “Sound the Alarm” to match the adorable printables by Paiges of Style. A note at their place setting advised that their “Rescue Packs” were filled items such as a fire fighter vest, a fire hydrant cup and glow necklaces and that there were other items they should fill their pack with as they visited different stations.

Activities: The first station was to “rescue the kitty” that was stuck in the tree and they received a kitty to take home. The next station was Spot’s Bounce house where every child was able to adopt a new furry friend, because every fireman needs his faithful friend. And, the last station was everyone’s favorite: a real fire truck. The Fantastic Fire Department gave everyone a turn to sit in the truck, sound alarms, try on gear, shoot the water hose, play games and after a ride around the street, each “junior fire fighter” received their own fire helmet.

My son as well as all the kids had a blast. We enjoyed time with family and friends and when it was all said and done, we all napped well!

Gretchen Dolnier SAYS:

I love your ideas and decor and am going to incorporate similar details in my son’s upcoming 4th Bday. We’re having at an antique firehouse, but they have a grassy area behind where we can do activities. I’ll try to remember to send photos of the final result. Thanks for the inspiration, I’m posting to facebook for sure.
