PARTY DETAILS, as told by Tania
:

I heart Mustaches! That said, this party was so much fun to plan and style. A very adorable theme that amused the adults as much as the kiddos!

SWEETS TABLE

The bold graphic of the black and white stripe set the tone for this manly sweets table. I baked and decorated the petal cake that had surprise colors inside! I used the printable mustache and birthday banner to complete the cake decoration.

Mustaches made their way onto each treat making them both humorous and sweet! Guests were invited to ‘wet your whisle’ with some cola and enjoy a chocolate mustache that doubled as a photo prop.

PHOTO BOOTH

The photo booth was purchased at Ikea and was just the perfect size for our little guests! They really enjoyed taking pictures with the photo props and spent the whole afternoon doing what they do best, being silly!

Winner update: 9/13/13: This giveaway is now closed. Thanks so much to everyone that entered! And the lucky random winner is… commenter #58 SABRINA MIX! Congrats!

*****

Whether it’s a cherished memory on display or a favorite dish being served up at a party, there are some moments in life that just call for something special.

And “special” is what the entire collection from BEATRIZ BALL reminds me of… beautiful, handmade pieces fit for wedding pictures, holiday parties, celebratory gifts, and more – like dressing up your favorite coffee table or bookcase with something extra pretty, for instance! :)

$200 SHOPPING SPREE GIVEAWAY

Speaking of favorites… I’m excited to share that one lucky HWTM reader is going to score some of theirs – because BEATRIZ BALL is offering up a generous $200 shopping spree on their site for our giveaway this week! And whether you pick something out for yourself or to gift to another, there are so many options to choose from… the hardest part will likely be narrowing things down. You’ll find everything from lovely pieces for entertaining (bowls, platters, cake stands, ice buckets, pitchers, cheese boards & more) to thoughtful gift ideas for weddings, house warming parties, and other happy occasions.

FINE METALWARE – MADE BY HAND

Also something worth noting… when BEATRIZ BALL calls their pieces “handmade”, they really mean it! I don’t think I can explain it any better than they do, so here goes: “More than twelve different sets of hands are involved in the creation of each piece, and the result of this intensely handmade process is a piece with a depth of character, warmth and personality that communicates in a way that only a handmade piece can.

Scroll down to enter the giveaway & take a peek at a few pieces from the collection… there are lots more where these came from!
