After last week’s quick tutorial on How to Cut Out A Party Circle {+ 3 Ways to Use It}, we had such positive feedback and were reminded of the genuine effectiveness of party “printables”, as the industry has dubbed them. They can make your table feel so full and finished… even with a foundation as simple as paper plates & napkins!
This inspired us to start a new column: Party with Paper. Just like it sounds… this column will share different ways that decorating with paper can add a whole new level of wow to your parties! For our first lesson, we’re showing how to dress up a basic kids party place setting (and using our Nautical Boy Birthday printables in the example).
BASIC KIDS PLACE SETTING
– Use an 8.5×11 printed sheet of pattern paper as a placemat.
– Embellish napkin with a printable “bottle/napkin wraps”, and layer it on top of the plate.
– Create oversized confetti with scattered party circles.
– Use tent cards (often used as food labels) as place cards.
– Wrap yarn around the lip of a mason jar, then add a red stripe straw and a party flag!
