PARTY DETAILS, as told by Debbie…
Come one come all to Andie’s Circus! Enter the magical world of the Circus and see Ella the elephant and her sidekick Squeak, the mouse.. We have lots of treats, sweets and prizes for you to enjoy!
DECORATIONS
For the decoration I wanted to make a dramatic focal point so I made a canopy draping red and white stripe fabric then adding light blue and red tulle underneath to add a little color, texture and volume to the display. We then placed our Andie’s Circus sign at the top.
DESSERTS
For desserts we had popcorn, a must for a circus/carnival party. We placed the popcorn in red and white striped bags with our “popcorn- who wants some popcorn, come get it while it’s hot! tag. Other fun treats were oversized animal cookies with frosting and sprinkles, cupcakes done simply with white cream cheese frosting and topped with colorful sprinkles. We had mini chocolate covered cherry “circus mice” scattered around the whole dessert bar as they would be seeking out something sweet to eat.
Ella the elephant was a main part of our table so we had to include peanuts for you to “feed Ella” with or snack on them yourself. The ever increasing gigantic jaw breaker suckers as a favor with our thanks for coming tag. Also we wanted to acknowledge The Ring Leader (Andie the birthday boy) so we made these Ring leader face mustache sucker holder. They were a definite hit and could be used for a photo booth props!
We made party hats for each of the guest, so they could feel party of the circus.

I would love to know as well!
can I ask how long each piece of material was for the canopy and how you hung it on the wall?
thanks.
The material was I think 4 yards long and I made loops with fishing wire to hang it to the wall.
just an amazing theme. not that typical for a party.
