Hello, GORGEOUS! Debbi hosted this fabulous “Masquerade Chic” 40th birthday bash at home and celebrated in style with her closest friends. Her company – Studio Cake  provided a grand assortment of sweets for the feté, including an eye catching black & white tier cake topped with ruffled flowers and a {rhinestone-and-feather bedecked} Venetian mask!

PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

– Cool pink & black bird cage motif gracing the sugar cookies and dessert labels
– Glass apothecary jars with bird shaped handles (LOVE these!)
– Stylish sweets like Parisian fairy floss, pastel pink cake pops & a chocolate fountain

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Debbi

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at home with my very close friends. The theme was Masquerade with a touch of chic! I chose a bold colour palette of fusia, black and white. Although I incorporated the masquerade mask in the cake, I wanted to include my love of bird cages and hence my table featured bird candy jars and vanilla cookies using the same bird cage motif as the buffet labels. Black bird cages were scattered around my deck. I wanted to add opulence to the setting and chose a beautiful chandelier candle holder as a centerpiece.

The chocolate fountain was a hit and it was lovely to see everyone indulging in my sweet delights! The beverage menu consisted of vodka, raspberry and an assortment of beverages to help my guests stay hydrated throughout the night!!

The sweets menu consisted of vanilla cupcakes, vanilla cookies, cake pops, strawberry mousse, macarons, profiteroles, and a yummy assortment of candy.

– Styling and Sweets table: Studio Cake
– Cake Stands and mirror plates: The little Big Company
– Printables (buffet labels, signage, invitations, thank you spots): Style Me Gorgeous
– Backdrop: Polkadot Prints
– Edible images: Little Dance Invitations
– Burlesque black ruffle tablecloth: Vintage Sew and So
– Candy: Sweet Style
