We have a fun new GIVEAWAY up for grabs today! If you love cider AND good excuses to celebrate outdoors, this fun Summer Picnic Pack starring the brand new Michelob ULTRA Light Cider should be right up your alley… and one lucky HWTM reader is going to win it!

We received one of these picnic packs to review ahead of time, and everything about it is truly great, from the taste of the Light Cider itself – crisp & refreshing with only 120 calories! – to the super cute & convenient Table in a Bag from Crate & Barrel. My husband and I used this giveaway post as the perfect excuse to go “work” in one of our favorite grassy spots in Del Mar… and I can’t tell you how many people stopped to ask us where we got “the cool little table” when we were setting up this mini shoot. ;)

Summer outdoor celebrations are the most fun. And cider is a perfect accompaniment at both picnics and cookouts. Here is a delicious, easy recipe I like to take to gatherings. On a small wheel of brie cheese, spread jam or fruit spread thickly on top (I prefer apricot), cover it with slivered almonds and a sprinkling of dried, sweetened cranberries. Serve it with crackers and/or apple slices and Michelob ULTRA Light Cider.

Picnics at the state parks. Enjoying the day with family and friends. Grilling, kids playing ball, the older folks playing cards at the picnic tables.Enjoyed it as a child and passing the tradition on to our kids. Good times

Summer is all about movie night at the park or Summer Concert Series. I love going with my husband and kids…granted most of the time we are chasing the kids around but we're together and enjoying being outside!

My favorite part of summer celebrations is 4th of July! I live in a coastal city, so every year people come to our town to celebrate! People walk down the streets and ride their bicycles in patriotic attire, and it’s just a fun, neighborhood event for everyone. I invite friends over and sip cocktails all day mingling with everyone. I LOVE it.
