PARTY DETAILS, as told by Claudia
:

To describe Daisy’s shower would be like asking what is your favorite kind of ice cream, when your favorite flavors are chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Your choice: Neopolitan! Daisy’s shower was a little bit of everything, combined in a tasteful manner.

From giraffe accents, to coral and teal colors to focusing on eco-friendly elements to a high-tea theme! So how do you incorporate all this? Easy!

The overall theme was a high-tea shower, serving high tea bites, from tea sandwiches to meatball sliders and gazpacho shooters. Hot tea was served, but for the non-tea drinker guests, a Mimosa Bar was set up.

Decor included vintage plates, purchased from thrift shops, served as the plate chargers. Beautiful teapots and teacups were placed at every place setting as a gift to all the guests. Oh, but that’s not all! All the teacups were filled with either succulents or baby cacti, so guests could take home and replant. The beautiful teapots and cups were also purchased at thrift shops. The mommy-to-be explained how she had so much fun searching for these and started becoming a little obsessed on the shopping!

The tables were draped in a beautiful giraffe print linens, in honor of Daisy’s favorite animal, and accented with beautiful gold napkins. Birdcages were repurposed and used to create some gorgeous centerpieces.

The dessert station was unveiled from a pocket room, which housed an array of desserts created by the mommy-to-be and her family. From chocolate cups filled with fresh fruit, to mini pie pops and cake balls to chocolate dipped pretzels! Who could forget the adorable giraffe sitting atop the cupcake tower? Little cupcakes were topped with gold-dusted white chocolate giraffes!
