HomeGoods {Part 2} + Gift Cards Giveaway!

As a follow up to PART 1 of the HomeGoods challenge featuring the Owl-themed Fall/Thanksgiving Table… here’s a recap of some other fall entertaining trends and favorite finds discovered along the way during that same shopping trip. Some of these finds actually made it into the cart and are awaiting their debut at an upcoming party… like the cool wooden bowl displayed in the very top pic, which actually already made a holiday debut! :)

Have you ever eaten at one of The Palm Restaurants? We’ve been to the ones in San Diego and Las Vegas (Caesar’s Palace) and the food is always AMAZING! So imagine my surprise when I first saw their collection of white dinnerware, white serveware and cooking tools lining the aisles at HomeGoods… super cool designs and great staples for entertaining! I’ve been coveting these particular plates for a while now:

Another party staple: pillar candle holders! Rarely do I use these for candles though… they more often get paired with a plate topper and serve as pedestals/risers for appetizers, mini desserts, party decor, and even picture frames. Such a great/affordable tool for adding height to whatever you need to prop up…

More of the cool wooden bowls discussed above. These are kind of surprisingly expensive in general, so the nearly 1/2 off prices at HomeGoods were a welcome change. I picked up a medium sized bowl this time, but love the one with the “basket handle” too… maybe next time!

My shopping partner isn’t as big of a “window shopping” fan as me yet…one day she’ll get it. ;)
