The LASIK Vision Institute

This Giveaway is now closed. We truly wish that all of you who entered could have won this amazing, life changing prize because as we all know our eyesight is a remarkable gift! Well let’s get right down to it! The incredibly lucky winner is…Commenter # 539, Lindi, who said, “I normally don’t enter contests because I’m like the unluckiest person alive, but this is too good to pass up! I’ve been wearing glasses/contacts since I was in 5th grade and would love the life changing opportunity to have Lasik surgery. It’s one of those things that has always been on my ‘so desperately want’ list, but has been pushed back due to the cost. Having the surgery would improve my quality of life (and itchy eyes) dramatically! I would just die if I won!” Congrats!! We hope the results are everything you dreamed of!

*****

So let me just start off by saying that this is CLEARLY something very different from the typical party/entertaining-related Giveaways that we usually run at HWTM, but with such an amazing prize, it was just too good to pass up… because The LASIK Vision Institute is offering up a LASIK eye surgery procedure VALUED AT a WHOPPING $4000 to a very lucky reader!

I know first-hand what a life-changer this can be because I had LASIK myself almost 7 years ago now, and it seriously changed my life overnight (or actually in the span of about 15 minutes to be more precise). I remember registering literally the exact second when my vision improved during the procedure – it was like I’d been looking through an out-of-focus camera lens and suddenly it came into focus – it was surreal! And I definitely do NOT miss the days when I could barely read the alarm clock on the night stand next to my bed unless I picked it up and held it approximately 4 inches from my face (ya – my vision was really THAT bad without contacts). Sound familiar to anyone else?

  1. Amy says:

I would love to win LASIK for my husband. He has had contacts/glasses since grade school so he has never known what it is like to have good vision. He has always talked about getting LASIK. I got laid off a year ago so LASIK isn’t something we could immediately afford. I know that it would change his life. What a great contest!

  2. Jenni says:

After my husband and I got married he started noticing that if I read without my glasses/contacts the book literally has to be no more than 3 inches away without it being completely out of focus. I wish I had great vision and if i had the Lasik procedure I know it would be life changing. My fingers are crossed!

  3. Hello! Lasik would be a dream come true! I have worn glasses since I was in kindergarten and never known a day where I could see without help. I would LOVE to wake up and see the world through new eyes! Whoever wins this though will be blessed beyond measure…so thank you for this giveaway!

  4. Nikki says:

    What an awesome giveaway!
One of my eyes could really use the lasik. But the other one is so bad, my doctor said I would need a lens implanted behind the retina and then lasik to finish the task. Frankly, the idea of a lens implanted in my eye kind of freaks me out, so I would likely gift this to my mom. She can no longer wear contacts and has been talking about lasik for years if she only had the money. I’d love for her to finally be able to do something for herself. Thanks for offering the surgery…I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

  5. Lila Hager says:

I would love to be able to give this to my husband. He refuses to wear glasses, so instead Im the one telling him what things are on the tv or a road sign! :-)

  6. Amie J says:

I haven’t been able to see 20/20 since birth. To no longer need glasses and the day to day care that requires would be a wonderful, sweet blessing. I almost got the procedure done 8 years ago but it is a signifigant investment.

  7. It would be for ME!! (my husband has perfect vision…yes, I’m jealous) I’m tired of wearing contacts and need this!!

  8. Lili says:

I would for my spouse to have Lasik! He has always suffered from poor vision and his prescription for his contacts are super high. His doctor has recommened lasik every time he is seen. Unfortunately, we cannot afford the procedure and I know that this would dramatically improve his daily life. What a great contest to win something so life changing! Thanks for allowing us to enter!

  9. Alfreda says:

I would LOVE to have Lasik as I am so tired of wearing my glasses and contacts. I’ve worn both since about the 9th grade of high school. It would be nice to be able to see the TV from my bed…LOL!

  10. Kim W. says:

The Lasik surgery would be for me. I have terrible vision and it would be so nice not have to reach for my glasses in the morning, just to see clearly.

  11. Misty Buchanan says:

I have had to wear glasses since I was 5 years old. Being able to have Lasik would be amazing. Thank you for the opportunity.

  12. Leslie R says:

I would love to win LASIK for my fiance! I have to be honest, for purely selfish reasons! When we talk about having children he says that I’m going to have to be the one to get up in the middle of the night if they are crying. He says because his vision is too bad and he wouldn’t be able to find his glasses quick enough. PLEASE help! I need a reason to be able to push him out of bed when our children are crying in the middle of the night! :)

  13. Jamie F says:

I would love to win this Lasik prize. I’ve been wearing glasses for 27 years and have always wanted to wake up and see the world without the glasses or contacts. Lasik is something that I don’t think that I could ever afford so to win this would be a blessing. I hope I’m picked and thank for the opportunity!

  14. Kristi Rose says:

I’ve had glasses since I was 10 years old. I’ve tried contacts several times and several varieties, and they’ve never been for me. I’d love to have LASIK so I could swim with my kids without having to wear my glasses…doesn’t really work out well, you know?

  15. Holly says:

Oh Wow! This would be amazing! If I were lucky enough to win I would use it myself. I have horrible eyesight and spend a small fortune on glasses and contacts. I have no idea what it is like to wake up in the morning and be able to see more than three inches (literally) in front of my face. *sigh* to be able to see without glasses or contacts………….

  16. Heather Van Dyke says:

my mom deserves LASIK more than anyone I know. She has worn glasses for years. I know that her nor I will ever be able to afford this surgery for her. What an awesome feeling it would be to give her this gift!

  17. I’d love Lasik surgery because my contacts are now 7.5 and 8 respectively, and last time I checked they only go up to 12! I’ve thought about it before but I’ve been too chicken to go forward but I think I could brave it for free. Thanks for the chance!

  18. Courtney W. says:

Winning LASIK would be a dream come true! With a new baby and new bills LASIK seems even further away. I have constant issues with my contacts and search the nightstand for glasses for the night feedings( not fun when you have a hungry baby).

  19. Brandy says:

I would love to have it done to myself. I hate having to put my contacts in everyday and I can’t stand wearing glasses. I would love to be alleviated of the annual costs that come along with glasses/contacts because it isn’t cheap.

  20. Jenny Johnson says:

What an amazing giveaway! I would love to have lasik done. I have been wearing glasses since I was in 4th grade. I am so sick of contacts and waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to see the clock.

  21. Kimberly says:

I would love to win the LASIK surgery for myself! I am always squinting to see everything and hate wearing my glasses!!

  22. Nanette says:

After having kids, I usually put myself last. And my glasses are included in that. I haven’t bought new glasses or had my eyes checked in 4 years because it always seems like the money could be better used elsewhere. If I won this giveaway, I would use it for myself!

  23. Jenny Dixon says:

I have been wanting to have the Lasik procedure done for years. I would love to wake up in the middle of the night and SEE my alarm clock! What a fantastic giveaway!

  24. Ginger cox says:

I am going to be turning the big 4-0 in December & would love a great birthday present like Lasik!!! I have worn glasses since high school & contacts since college. What a pain! I have been thinking this would be such a great thing to have done. To be able to see first thing in the morning would be real treat for the second half of my life!

  25. Niki says:

Oh my. What a wonderful chance for my future husband. He has dealt with glasses/contacts since the 8th grade. He consistently dreams about Lasik but we simply cannot afford it with our student loan debt. Crossing my fingers and toes!!

  26. Chanda Garcia says:

I would love, love, love to have Lasik! After years of putting up with the hassle of contacts and glasses; I would be beside myself with excitement to open my eyes in the morning and see my family clearly, without having to fumble around for my glasses first!

  27. Missi says:

I would love to win Lasik! I have had glasses or contacs since 3rd or 4th grade. I hate waking up in the middle of the night & not even being able to read the clock & know what time it is. I would love to not have to wear glasses or contacts anymore!

  28. Alicia Richards says:

I would love to win this for my Mom who can barely see. She went to the grand opening of Mother’s in Brea and they were giving away cookies but my mom thought they were hamburgers. She is the youngest of 9 children and has had such a hard life, this would be so wonderful. I wish I could just buy it for her.

  29. Lindsay says:

I have had horrible vision since 6th grade! I started with glasses and have now worn contacts for over 15 years. I would love to have Lasik – I can’t imagine the feeling of opening my eyes in the morning and being able to see my surroundings without putting on glasses or putting in contacts. That would be thrilling!!

  30. Mindy says:

I would give this to MYSELF!! :-) I have worn glasses and/or contacts all my life – would love to win this! Thanks for the opportunity to be entered for something so wonderful!

  31. Jillian says:

This is amazing – great giveaway! I have wanted lasik for so long. To wake up and see clearly without having to reach for glasses or put contacts in would be absolutely wonderful!! I’ve also taken up scuba diving. I recently got my certification and am planning to go to Australia next year to dive, so lasik would be perfect!

  32. Leanne hoodl says:

I would love LASIK eye sugery for myself. I have worn contacts or glasses for 15 years. They get in the way of my everyday life. I can’t wear sunglassesifi wear glasses, I can’t hunt, my glasses bounce when I run. It would be a dream come true to finally see perfect with out all the nonsense in the way.

  33. Erin says:

My heart almost flat lined when I saw this opportunity! I would LOVE to win this for myself. I have worn glasses since I was in 5th grade and now I’m nearly 36. I’ve wanted to have Lasik done ever since I heard about it, but there’s always something else that comes up that is more pressing like car repairs or medical bills, etc… I would love this because I would love to see again, plain and simple. And to go outside and wear sunglasses without getting dust under my contacts or have to wear glasses all the time would be an amazing gift. Thank you for this chance. :)

  34. Taylar Riley says:

I can remember sitting in my Kindergarten class praying for cool glasses like one of my girl classmates had. They were rosy pink and even had those holder strings. Less than 2 years later my prayers were answered and I was the owner of a pink pair of plastic rimmed glasses with tint and my very own set of holder strings. And then reality set in. I got the attention too, it was then I realized 4 eyes and coke bottle were not compliments. Luckily I was able to move into contacts in 7th grade once astigmatism contacts were readily available. I have put on contacts every day since. Now I’m a 30 year old mother of 2 who fumbles around for my glasses in the middle of the night to see what time I’m doing late night feedings or to see what the baby is doing on the monitor. I wake up 45 minutes earlier than the rest of the house just to start getting myself ready, because my contacts may not go in easy. It has been just one of those things that are apart of my life. I have to say I’m so thankful for modern day technology and medicine that allows me to see with corrective lenses, b/c boy, what a creek I would be in without it. I can only imagine what life would be like without the hassle. The LASIK procedure is a thought I’ve toyed around with for years but some financial “surprise” always seems to come up that prevents me from going through with it. If I offer any wisdom from personal experience, be careful what you pray for, God really came through in full on my glasses prayer :-p

  35. Tancy says:

Every time I have to order my contacts I think of having lasik surgery! Every time something goes in my eye and leaves me paralazed for at least an hour while I try to clean and fix my contacts I think of lasik surgery. If you have ever seen the movie “Gattaca” when he takes off his contacts and tries to run across the street THAT’S EXACTLY HOW I SEE without my glasses. I would LURVE to finally be able to live contact/glasses free!!!

  36. Elizabeth says:

I already had lasik and it’s amazing! I dont miss wearing contacts and even better glasses! It’s be great to gift this to a loved one (most of them have had lasik already) but it’s worth a shot!

  37. Julie says:

My boyfriend needs LASIK! He knows it and talks about getting it. He often gets eye infections or blood shot eyes after just wearing his contacts for 10 hours. But we are going to be planning our wedding soon and that will take a good chunk of our savings. So the LASIK will keep getting pushed back. :( He would be so relieved to not have to wear his contacts or glasses ever again.

  38. Dee says:

I have always wanted to get LASIK since I was in high school. I am so ready to be done with contacts and glasses. I struggle with putting contacts in and glasses are such a nuisance.

  39. Tammy Hildebrandt says:

At first thought I was going to say it would be for me so I could see my beautiful daughter without my glasses, but on giving it a bit more thought I think I might give it to my brother in law. He has been wearing glasses since before grade school. He can’t see squat without them. He has three beautiful children and a lovely wife and I think he could benefit from this even more than I would. I can still see without my glasses, but he can’t. So if I won this, I would give it to him!

  40. Victoria Schuetze says:

The lasik would be for my husband if I won. He has spent his whole life in glasses, strong ones. I just started wearing them, so figure it is my turn, and he should enjoy the freedom of being without.

  41. Nyree Price says:

If I were to win I would give to my husband. He’s talked about having it done in the past, but hasn’t done anything about it. This would make a wonderful, unexpected surprise for him. Thanks for opportunity!

  42. Heidi Ongman says:

My Husband has LOST 3, yes THREE, pairs of prescription sunglasses since January (the really cool Ray-ban aviators). Enough said =) The guy needs some LASIK!!!

  43. Melissa S says:

I would love this for my husband. He just cant stand wearing his glasses. Hes talked about wanting Lasik for years but we havent been able to afford it.

  44. jessica says:

Im 27 and have had to wear glasses since i was in 3rd grade i have spent a fortune on glasses. Im a single mother and currently unemployed so this would not only help me to be able to wake up and not have to get my glasses to see clearly but in the financial aspect as well.

  45. Sierra N. says:

It would be incredible to win LASIK eye surgery for my husband Kurt. This would be such a life changer for him. He has worn glasses or contacts since he was a kid. It would dramatically change his life to not have to worry about putting on glasses or contacts every morning. Money has been so tight lately that he has been wearing old contacts way longer than he should in order to save money. It’s not good for his eyes and causes lots of pain. His birthday is coming up in December and I would love to be able to surprise him with this as the gift of a lifetime. He has always dreamed of being able to has LASIK surgery but has pretty much given up on that dream knowing we could never afford it. My husband is the most deserving person I know. He is sweet and kind and always puts everyone else’s needs before his own. He loves photography and wants to start his own photography business one day. His sight really limits him though in photography. Being able to see clearly would give him the opportunity to become an incredible photographer and maybe down the road if we can afford it to start a business for him. Please please my my hubby’s dream of perfect vision come true. It would mean so much to us.

  46. Shannon says:

I can’t remember a time where I didn’t need glasses. I have been wanting this procedure for a long time, but haven’t taken the plunge. I would love to win Lasik. Thank you for the opportunity. :)

  47. Ann DiBona says:

I, too, have been wearing glasses since the second grade. My vision has grown progressively weaker as the years have gone by. I would LOVE to be able to swim underwater and actually SEE the bottom, especially when snorkeling! Kudos to The LASIK Vision Institue for this incredible giveaway!!!

  48. Ivelisse says:

I would love to have LASIK done for myself! I have worn glasses since very little and would love to just get up in the morning without reaching for my glasses or fumbling to put on my contact and just SEE CLEARLY!!! ;)

  49. I would give this special gift to my husband . He is an awesome person and I know that he would be really happy to receive this gift . So please think of us when you do your drawing.

  50. Mindy says:

I would give this to MYSELF!! :-) I have had to wear glasses/contacts all my life and would absolutely LOVE to have great vision without the help of lenses. Thank you so much for the opportunity to enter for such a wonderful giveaway!

  51. michelle parrott says:

i would like to have that done since i dont know what i look like without glasses.

  52. Jovanna says:

I would love to win this prize for my sister! She’s been wearing glasses since she was in first grade and I know she’s always dreamt of being able to have corrective eye surgery. Wow! this prize would be a blessing!

  53. Alison says:

My husband has been waiting to get the LASIK procedure done for some time! My vision was horrible for a long time (I couldn’t see without my contacts in) but I was scared to have the procedure done so never really thought of it as an option. I then developed an allergy to my contacts. I changed brands 4 times and still had persistent issues. My doctor finally said that I either had to come out of contacts completely and wear glasses (which isn’t so great when you have young kids who like to pull on them) or I had to have LASIK. My husband had been saving money for him to have the procedure, but instead let me have it since the contacts were no longer an option. He is such a GOOD husband! To my relief, the procedure was painless and now I can see. With the savings he had now gone because of his willingness to put me first, we aren’t in a position to pay for him to receive it for a long while. When I saw this contest, I thought “WOW…an answer to prayer”! This is an awesome give-away and even if we don’t win it I hope it will be a blessing to some else out there!

  54. ruthiehart says:

I would use the Lasik on myself! I am blind!!

  55. Lisa says:

I would LOVE to win LASIK for myself. I have 14 month old twins and can hardly see at all without my glasses. Fumbling for my glasses in the middle of the night when one of them needs me is so not fun.

  56. Brandi says:

Oh my gosh I love this giveaway! I would just die from excitement if I won. We have our first baby on the way, and while I know I couldnt have the surgery until afterwards, it would be so amazing to know that I could just get up and go without taking the time for glasses or contacts. Especially with the night time feedings that are coming!

  57. Jen Weidenhof says:

I would love Lasik for myself! I first got glasses in 3rd grade and have always hated wearing glasses. I was lucky to get contacts in 7th grade – but I can’t even remember what it’s like to wake up and be able to see without fumbling around. It would be a dream come true!

  58. Amanda says:

Wow!!! I would LOVE to win LASIK!! I’ve had glasses since second grade and have thinking about having surgery for the past few years. I just haven’t had the money to do it! If I’m not wearing my contacts or glasses, I can’t even see the eyes of someone right in front of me. It’s so sad! I can’t even imagine what it would be like to wake up in the morning and be able to see!

  59. april says:

i would love to have it done so no more contacts and having to be careful with my three year old around it would make my life easier.

  60. Hana Ahmad says:

I would love to get Lasik. I’ve had glasses since I was in 3rd grade, now I’m 23 and a teacher myself and perfect eyesight would be a blessing. My eyes always get red from my contacts and wearing glasses as a teachers is very difficult when he children hug you etc. (always the chance of getting knocked off). This would be an amazing win, especially because I have a teacher salary :(
    Thank you for the opportunity!!

  61. Christina H says:

I would love to win this LASIK contest for my boyfriend! He’s had glasses his entire life; what a pain! We play competitive volleyball 3-4 times a week and he always has to wear a glasses strap when he plays or else they’ll come flying off with the sweat! He has coached volleyball for 13 years and plays competitively in tournaments around the DMV area. He’s tried doing contacts but he has a fear of things touching his eye… he can’t even put eye drops in! I know he would be delighted if he had the opportunity to get LASIK! Thanks for the opportunity!

  62. I have had the worse vision for practically my entire life and would give anything to have lasik eye surgery! The hassle of wearing contact, multiple eye problems, and not being able to see at all without my contacts in has really become quite annoying over my life. Winning this amazing giveaway would be such a blessing. How awesome that someone would be so generous to offer this. xoxo
    Jenn

  64. Alexandra Keller says:

Oh my gosh what an amazing opportunity to win! I am trying to win this for my hubby who suffered with headaches and bad vision for years until he finally went to the optometrist and they told him he has astigmatism. 69. cati says:

I wouldnt even know how to feel if I won. I have dreamed of Lasik for so long, but it always seems to be such a huge expense that I can never justify it for myself. But to be able to see the alarm clock, or not have to worry about taking extra contacts for 1 day on the boat…..that would be amazing!

  70. Tasha Helton says:

Wow! What an amazing giveaway! I would love to get LASIK done because my eyes are so sensitive to the sun which can be brutal on bright sunny California days. I can only wear contacts for so long. I totally agree with whoever posted that comment about seeing your alarm clock in thoe middle of the night. Lol. Or another one for me is would be not having to stand the closet you can get to the bathroom mirror to put you eye makeup on. What a blessing for whoever gets it!

  71. Amanda M says:

I would LOVE to have a LASIK procedure. I have worn glasses/contacts since childhood. I would love to wake up every morning without searching or digging for my glasses; and, when I am unable to locate them, I would love to be able to find my way around my house without tripping over animals or running into walls (which unfortunately has happened in the past.)

This is a great giveaway! Amanda

  77. Melania says:

I’d like my mom to get the LASIK done. She takes care of my kids and hate the fact that the kids keep on grabbing and pulling her glasses off of her.

  78. suepark says:

I would love to finally get rid of my glasses and contacts… Oh the freedom of waking up and opening your eyes and seeing in 20/20. Pick me! Pick me!

  80. lara says:

I would LOVE to win Lasik for myself. I’m nearly blind and this would be amazing! With a new baby, it’d be so great to be able to get up in the middle of the night and not have to search for my glasses, or put contacts into my eyes in the morning when I can barely keep them open!

  81. Jen N. says:

I would LOVE this as I’ve actually been considering doing it for awhile. I’m just to the point where I’m tired of dealing with smudged up glasses that fog up when I go through temperature changes and not wearing cute sunglasses anymore!

  82. Marti says:

I am approaching my upper 40’s and I don’t want to wear bifocals! Lasik would be awesome!

  83. I would love to get Lasik for myself because my eyesight is terrible! Like – alarm clock <2 inches from my face to see it clearly. I can't wear my contacts anymore and want to play in the water again someday … without being blind!

Would love to nominate Amanday Myers for this surgery! She deserves it!!!

  85. Sara says:

  87. Mallory says:

I would love to win this giveaway! My eyes are chronically dry, which only allows me to wear contacts for about 8hours at a time without them turning bright red and blinking out the contacts. My glasses are fine, but I just don’t feel pretty and confident with them on. I’ve been wanting lasik so badly, but it’s just not been feasible for our budget. My sweet husband has been wanting me to get lasik as well, since he loves how I look without glasses. Winning this would seriously be amazing!

  88. Karen says:

i would love to give this to my daughter who has Had tO wear thick thick thick glasses all of her life.

  89. Kara says:

This is a tough one because my husband and I would both LOVE to have Lasik surgery. But if I had to choose, I would let him get it!

You’ve got to be kidding! What a giveaway! I’d love to have this done, or give it to my sporty husband who hates wearing glasses while playing sports.

  91. Sharon says:

I’ve had terrible eyesight since 5th grade, and could really use this! Thank you for the giveaway offer!

I would love to win this for my husband! He has been wanting to have this done for sometime now and just hasn’t. His 30th birthday is at the end of the month, what a wonderful way to surprise him!

  94. Amanda says:

This would be so amazing! Actually being able to wake up and see … what a concept! Although I love my fun frames … it would certainly be nice not to have to put them on the minute I wake up and take them off when I go to bed. Thanks for the opportunity!

  95. Erin C says:

Wow! I would give this to mom! How awesome if she could get rid of her glasses!

  96. Nathalie says:

I would definitely need to the Lasik for myself! I usually wear contacts and glasses (sometimes), but it would be great to be able to see again! I’ve been this blind since I was 11. Just imagine, no more having to hold a mirror up to my nose, no more blurry vision in the shower and I can actually see street signs! ha!

  97. Jennie Keen says:

I would love to win LASIK for myself! I have worn glasses or contacts since the third grade. As an adult, I have had horrible allergies, which makes wearing my contacts difficult some days. With a 5 year old and a newborn, glasses aren’t always convenient. LASIK would be amazing! Thanks for the chance!

  98. Julie says:

I would love to win this for my dad. He is a truck driver and could really benefit from Lasik. He had been providing for us when we were little, and now he is the sole provider for him and mom. Working as a truck driver is what he loves and I want him to be able to do it for as long as he wants:)

  99. brenda says:

i have had it!! need to have it redone b/c i have lost my close up vision due to age. i think i would give it to my niece or my sister in law. they have both wanted it but can’t afford it. what a great chirstmas gift it would be!!

  100. deede says:

In 1975, I learned I have astigmatism. Now, I have developed presbyopia and my left eye has started to develop symptoms of farsidedness. I’ve tried hard, soft and gas-permeated contacts, none of which were for me.
This opportunity would be such a blessing to me; my daughter and her two sons have moved back in with me following an escape from her abusive husband in the middle of the night in May 2010. I now support all four of us, so being able to afford this procedure is out of the question at present.
I am so very happy my children are now safe and my daughter is actively rebuilding her life and career. Just the chance to win is uplifting to me. Thank you for allowing me to dream!

  101. Angela says:

This would be a dream come true! I’ve had glasses since 1st grade and got bifocals in 2nd grade. I can’t even remember opening my eyes in the morning when I wake up and being able to see. What a FANTASTIC giveaway!

  102. jessicabrower says:

I would love Lasik for myself. I have a terrible habit of leaving my glasses on the bed table, and my precious year and a half old Peagle has chewed more than one pair. :-(

  103. Tam says:

Oooh how I would love to have the LASIK procedure for myself but if I won it I would give it to my hubby because he works and brings the big bucks home so I can stay at home to raise our daughter and enter great contests like this one!!!!

I remember when I got contacts and I thought it was amazing!! Fast forward 10 years and my eyesight is horrible! Now with having kids, stumbling around in the middle of the night without great vision is always an adventure!!
I would love to be free of contacts/glasses!!

  106. Caryn says:

I would give this to my husband in a heartbeat. His vision is terrible and I know he hates his glasses and contacts. He is a Marine, currently stationed in Okinawa but would be a great surprise when he comes home to visit our little boy!!!!!

  107. Heather Banks says:

I would love Lasik, I’m a photographer and it’s such a pain wearing glasses or contacts when shooting! It’d be a dream to wake up in the morning and just be able to SEE clearly!

  108. Kathryn says:

I would LOVE to win Lasik for my hubby!! He has the worst vision and always talks about how much he would love to get this done someday. The gift of non-corrected sight would be amazing! :)

  109. I have an eye disorder, so even though I’m as blind as a bat, I don’t think I can undergo Lasik, unfortunately. However, my hubby is also as blind as can be, and would love to not deal with contacts and glasses anymore!!

  110. Amy says:

I would love this for myself. I have worn glasses since the age of 7 and contacts since I was 10. I would love to be able to get up in the morning and have clear vision without glasses or contacts. Thanks for the giveaway!

What a great giveaway. I hope I win! How nice to not need contact lenses anymore.

  112. Tricia says:

I would love to be able to win and give it to my husband. He always says that he would love to have the procedure done, but we just cant afford it. I would love for him to have the opportunity to get it done, since he is always so selfless and puts himself last when there are things to get done! Thank you!

  113. Katie says:

I want Lasik because I HATE having to wear glasses that give me headaches!!!!!

It really would be so exciting to win!

  114. Tawnya Guimond says:

My husband and I have both gotten LAKIK and love it. This would be an amazing wedding present for one of my best friends. She has been wanting to get it done, but has to pay for her own wedding so she is unable to afford it right now. For her to be able to cry tears of joy on her wedding day without contacts would be thrilling.

  115. Sarah L. says:

I would love to have lasik for the simple fact that my nose hurts from my 13 month old taking my glasses off my face. I’ve had either glasses/contacts on since 5th grade. Also, owning a photography business sometimes mean long hours and I almost always wear my contacts during weddings. It would be incredibly awesome if I didn’t have to worry about trying to find my glasses to see E. when he wakes up in the middle of night or taking breaks from a job to put drops in.

  116. Kristin H. says:

I love love to have Lasik done on my eyes. I have worn glasses since I was 6 years old. I don’t remember what it was like to see clearly without glasses or contacts. How crazy is that?!?

  117. suzanne says:

I have the worst eyes of anyone I know! I’ve been wearing glasses since I was a kid — it would be a dream to get lasik! Pick me, Pick me!!!!!!! What an amazing contest!

I would love not to have to wear contact/glasses ever again. Oh the freedom!

  119. Wendy says:

I would love to get lasik. I have never had much of a problem with wearing contacts, but ever since I moved to a new place my allergies have been so bad I can only wear my contacts for about an hour at a time between April and November.

  120. Buffy says:

I never knew I needed glasses until I was a Sophomore in college and had my first real eye exam. The doctor asked me, “how did you not know that you needed glasses?” How WOULD I know if I’d always seen the same way for my entire life?? Anyways, that conversation is always what I’m reminded of when I wear my glasses and why I’d like to have the LASIK procedure. For myself. Some day. :)

  121. Angela says:

winning this amazing prize for my husband would be FANTASTIC!!! He is a candidate for Lasik surgery, and this would be life changing for him!!! Thanks for offering such a wonderful prize!

  122. Julliana says:

I would love to win LASIK. I’ve had glasses since I was 8 years old and for the last 15 years they’ve been so thick that I have to get the chucky plastic frames to hide the lenses…but they still stick out of the edges! It would be so awesome to wake up and see!

  123. Frieda says:

I would love to get Lasik so that I don’t have to worry about my contact lenses anymore!

  124. Julie says:

Oh my goodness! Lasik would be a dream come true…I’ve worn contacts/glasses for as long as I can remember. I would LOVE to be able to wake up being able to see!

  125. Jaydee says:

I would like to have Lasik. I’ve been wearing glasses since the age of 10 and contacts irritate my eyes since they are so sensitive. It would be a blessing to not need my glasses to find my glasses.

  126. julia says:

    Hi,
I would love to have the surgery for myself. With 2 small kids I have to replace my glasses at least once every 6 months..that gets expensive. My little one broke my glasses 2 times and my oldest 1 time…. I hate to have to spend the money in a plastic frame that will last a few months. And besides …I think I look much better without them :O) ! Thanks

  127. Michelle L. says:

I would love Lasik for myself. I’m a -5.00 in each eye and would love to see the world with out having to put on my glasses and contacts on everyday, would love to swim, with out the worry that my contact will come out. Crossing my fingers!!!

  128. Christian says:

I know my wife would love to get lasik. Lately her contact lenses have been bothering her, and she cringes at the thought of having to wear glasses all the time.

  129. Tori says:

I would love to win because my eyesight is really terrible and as I’m about to have a baby I realize that glasses are more plausible for night time feedings and rocking…and my glasses give me vertigo! ha ha! But really who wouldn’t love lasik?? I think it would be awesome to be free of dry eyes and be able to be awake with my kids in the night see them! ;)

  130. Alexandra says:

I think this is probably the best giveaway I’ve ever seen. I would love to get lasik done on my eyes. I first started wearing glasses in the 3rd grade and contacts since the 7th. The thing I dislike most about my poor eyesight is that when I wear contacts, which is any time I’m in public, they always turn my eyes red after a few hours and get uncomfortable. Plus, when I go to the waterpark, beach, or just swimming I can’t wear my contacts so I have to rely on my husband to show me around because I can’t see at all without them.

  131. Abbie says:

I SO need this! When I’m not wearing my contacts or glasses, I can’t even see my husband or baby right in front of me! It’s ridiculous. This is such a great giveaway!! I’d love to be able to feed my child at night without fumbling for my glasses!

  132. Lyndsay says:

This is the best giveaway I have ever seen! The LASIK would be for me! I’ve worn contacts/glasses since grade school but my kids keep breaking my glasses so at night when I take my contacts out I am completely BLIND. I would love to be free of that!

  133. Amal S says:

Oh my goodness, I need this! I am blind without glasses or contacts – I can’t even find my glasses if I misplace them without help from my husband! This would be life-changing in a major way!

  134. Kelli says:

What a wonderful gift!! I would love to have LASIK. I’m a novice photographer so it would be great to shoot without everything going out of focus!

  135. Tara says:

I would love to win this giveaway!

I am always so timid in water, such as pools, when playing with my son because I don’t want to be splashed in the face and have water get under my contacts. I would love the freedom of being more carefree while in the water.

  136. Jill says:

I so know what you mean…I would love to wake up and be able to see the alarm clock.. among everything else! This would be amazing!!

  137. Liz says:

Weird…I was just daydreaming about life without glasses or contacts. I would love LASIK for myself because I can’t remember a time when I haven’t been able to see unassisted. Every once in a while I fall asleep with my contacts in & wake up thinking I have perfect vision. Ha!

  138. Emily says:

Wow- I would LOVE to receive Lasik! I have been wearing glasses/contacts since the first grade. What a gift to be able to regain my sight!

  139. Jae Lindsay says:

Why? Because I never have been able to wear contacts, and seem to only wear my glasses 50% of the time. I’m getting lines by my eyes from squinting too much!

(oh, and it’s for me, selfishly)

  140. Jessica T says:

I would love to win this for my husband! His glasses are constantly getting in the way and he loves to play golf and not having to wear the glasses would make his playing experience much better!

This is an amazing prize HWTM!!! Thank you for giving this away!!!

  141. Holly Morrison says:

Oh, it would definitely go to my daughter, she has been in glasses since age 2 when she started with bifocals. She’s old enough now and her eyes have improved enough as she grew that the doctor says it could be fixed with lasik now. Would love to give her the opportunity to see what life is like without glasses!

  142. Katie says:

After having a baby I am realizing how much they love to pull hair, earrings, and of course… my glasses. I keep thinking that I would love to have my eyes fixed so that my son would see me without my glasses!

  143. Laura H says:

My vision is HORRIBLE! Like cannot-even-type-this-comment-without-my-glasses horrible ha. Plus I have an adorable pair of Marc Jacobs sunglasses that I never get to wear because they aren’t prescription. :(

  144. Liz White says:

Lasik is one of those things I always wanted but not something in our families’ budget. I would love to wake up in the morning look out a window and really see the world!

  145. melissa.krein@yahoo.com says:

I would give the Lasik prize to my husband. I had Lasik 6 years ago and I want to share with him how amazing it really is! His contacts always irritate his eyes so he tends to wear glasses quite a bit. PRETTY PLEASE PICK ME, PICK ME!!!! :)

  146. Amanda W. says:

I’d love to win this for my husband. He needs to be able to see and has refused to get glasses. This would be wonderful for him. Thanks!

  147. Emily Harrison says:

I would love to give my husband lasik surgery! He is very active and swimming, biking, etc is near impossible with glasses. His eyes are so sensitive to contacts-but he wears them to do the things he loves. What a great giveaway!

  148. Erin says:

I’d love to have LASIK because without vision insurance I haven’t been able to make it to the eye doctor to get an updated prescription in over three years. It’s just one of those things that hasn’t made it into my budget. LASIK would be a lifesaver. :)

  149. Jeanmarie says:

Although I am not normally a winner of these things (I have been entering every contest held at Pioneer Woman for 5 years and STILL no Kitchenaid Mixer!!) I had to enter this one – I am almost 50 years old, have worn glasses since I am twelve, I am divorced with all the financial stresses that come along with it, and this might be my only chance to know what it would be like to see the world without lenses – keeping my fingers crossed!!

  150. Brenda says:

I would love, love to have this done! My eyesight has been bad since I was a small child. I finally got glasses when I was 15 and could not believe what the trees looked like with their individual leaves! I was so used to seeing “clouds” on tree branches. I have graduated to contacts, but have astigmatism that makes really clear vision difficult. I am restricted on my drivers license to always wear glasses or contacts, but I always tell them I couldn’t even FIND my car without them in! What a blessing this would be!

  151. Carmen says:

What a great giveaway!! I would love to win this for myself!! It would be like a miracle or a dream come true being able to see again without depending on my glasses ’cause contacts never worked for me!! Thank you so much for this great opportunity!!

  152. Cecily says:

I would love this. I would use it on myself. I’ve had glasses for 20 years and would love to never have to wear another pair again. What an awsome prize. Thanks.

  153. Tammy says:

I’m pretty sure I’d give my left arm just to be able to read the clock in the middle of the night!! People with good vision have no idea how lucky they are :)

  154. Amber F. says:

I have been in glasses literally since kindergarten. What an amazing giveaway!

  155. Christal Tenorio says:

I would LOVE to win Lasik for myself I’ve been wearing glasses since 2nd grade & now that i have my kids i would rather my contact and glasses money go to them or towards a house. My 2nd baby is on the way and it would be nice to wake up in the middle of the night without having to grab my glasses…It would be a dream come true no more contacts or glasses ;)

  156. Bonnie says:

Oh how I would love Lasik!!! A few years back I had to stop wearing contacts because of how much time I spend in front of the computer. They’d just dry out and drive me nuts. So – I’m back to glasses and to say glasses interefere with just about everything is an understatement. Just having my eyelashes a hair too long is annoying…they brush against the lens. Adjustments, cleanings, scratches, the expense!!! Who wouldn’t want to ditch glasses forever?????

  157. Jamie Judd says:

I would love LASIK for myself. I have had glasses since 2nd grade and I am practically blind without my glasses. But I would probably give this to my mom if I won. I know it is something she would LOVE, but might not ever set money aside for herself to pay for it. I would love to win this and surprise her!

  158. Jolene says:

I would love to win LASIK for my Husband. He has always had glasses/contacts, and finds it very limiting. We have just welcomed baby number 3, and I would love for him to be able to play with his girls with out having to constantly tell them to watch out for his glasses. Thanks for the opportunity!

  159. Nikola Ahaiwe says:

I would love to win the Lasik giveaway! I’ve been wanting to have the procedure done for a while now, but I simply can’t afford it at the moment. The only time you’ll catch me without my glasses on is when i’m asleep! My coworker had the procedure and said it was so worth it. I would love to be free from my glasses and see clearly!

  160. Karen says:

I have worn glasses all of my life. It has been difficult to get prescriptions that truly work and help my eye site. Also with no medical insurance and a family, it is often hard to be able to afford doctors visits, or being able to buy a new pair of glasses. I have always wanted Lasik surgery. I feel as if I would have so much freedom if I did not have to depend of wearing my glasses every single day, all day long. Thank you for the contest!!! This is wonderful.

  161. I would LOVE to get LASIK procedure done. I can’t remember what its like to wake up, open my eyes and actually see my surroundings. What a great giveaway!

  162. Joy says:

I have been wearing, glasses forever. I would love to see clearly for once.

  163. Ailie says:

I would absolutely LOVE to win this for my amazing husband (who’s worn contacts/glasses for about 20 years). We have talked about doing LASIK for a while, but we’ve had other medical expenses every year that have kept us from being able to do it.

  164. Christen says:

I’ve worn glasses since the second grade and it would be amazing not to have to worry about spending money on contacts or glasses again. I’d want the surgery for myself and I think it would be amazing to have clear vision always.

  165. meganhall says:

This is one of the raddest prizes EVER! I’ve had glasses since the 4th grade and while I do enjoy rockin a sweet pair of nerdy plastic frames my chronically dry eyes means I have an AWFUL time wearing contacts. I would just like to be able to see without always having to wear glasses. (because, you know, fashion frames)

  166. Pamela says:

I would absolutely love LASIK! I’ve worn glasses since I was in third grade and I can’t wear contacts anymore (they were affecting the blood vessels in my eyes). I would love to be able to see things that are further away than three inches from my face!

  167. i would live this for ME! I would live to see the baby monitor at night without having to put my glasses on. Just last night I was doing a finally check on the baby and when I peeked into his crib my too old glasses fell off my face and landed on his head! I sure hope I’m the lucky winner!

  168. Kelly O says:

I would love to have LASIK vision correction surgery! I’ve worn glasses or contacts since I was seven years old and lately the contacts aren’t cutting it for me, so I’m back in the world of glasses.

Since our daughter was born, I spend half my time telling her that Mama’s glasses are not to play with, or fumbling around for them in the middle of the night to look at her video monitor or handle a “late night snack” for her. I cannot even imagine what it would be like to open my eyes and be able to see (without having fallen asleep wearing my glasses… again.)

  169. Cheryl says:

I wish I could get this deal, but unfortunately I have been told I am not a candidate for LASIK or any other type of procedure. I often wonder if LASIK would have been around when I was younger and before my wavy corneas, if things would have been different for me. Anyway, if I won, I would give it to my son while he is still has young, healthy eyes.

  170. Kate Ball says:

My husband would LOVE to get LASIK done… he’s supposed to wear his glasses but rarely does. Great contest! Hope we win!! :)

  171. Jamie Harris says:

WOW!! What a great giveaway! I would absolutely love to able to get Lasik. My sister has had the surgery, and it changed her life. I have been dreaming about not having to constantly wear my contacts or glasses!! This would be a dream come true!

  172. Teresa says:

My son needs it so bad. He is 23 years old and can not see very well. He has no insurance to even get his eyes checked.

    Thanks.

  173. Vanessa says:

I would LOVE LASIK!! My eye glasses get more expensive each time I visit the eye doctor. I’d love to not have to worry about glasses or dirty lenses ever again!

  174. Lisa says:

I would LOVE To have Lasik – I have had to wear contacts since 8th grade and it is such a pain. With an active lifestyle of water sports, dirt sports, and just playing – you are always worried about your contacts falling out! It would be a dream to have this surgery and be contact free!

  175. Lindsay says:

I would love to have Lasik for myself. My vision gets a little worse each year. I simply can’t stand to wear contacts for the irritation they cause me, yet my glasses are constantly getting in the way when I’m playing sports, traveling, or doing lots of little things!!!

  176. Sarah says:

Lasik – wow! I would absolutely love to give this to my husband as he is the type to sleep in his contacts and then get an eye infection. However, he was evaluated last year and is in the 2% of the population that can’t get Lasik. (Go figure) So – I too would love to get it done. I go through periods of dry eyes and discomfort from my contacts (currently going through it now). It would be amazing to wake up and see!

  177. amy b says:

my husband!! he never complains about glasses and contacts, but I know that he would love it. I had RK back in the day and I know how wonderful it is not to have to worry with contacts/glasses anymore!

  178. Tiffany says:

I work long hours at night and my contacts start to hurt my eyes late into the evening. Lasik would be great!

  179. Heather says:

While I’d like to be all self-sacrificing and say I would gift the LASIK to someone else – I can’t. I would keep it for myself. I’ve worn glasses since the third grade and can’t really remember a time in my life where I didn’t have to worry about breaking my glasses or forgetting my contacts. To be able to read or do my craft projects without constantly pushing my glasses up my nose would be amazing!!

  180. Hui says:

I have good vision. But if I win, I’ll be giving it to my wife.

  181. Courtney Smith says:

I would LOVE to win this giveaway for myself. I have worn glasses/contacts for 20 years and I hate not being able to see anything. I am blind as a bat! I love your blog and follow every post. Hope I win!!

  182. Deanna, 5-9 Events says:

i would love to win this for myself. I’ve been wearing glasses or contacts since I was 8 (almost 20 years) and it would be great to know what it’s like to wake up with good vision!

  183. Chrissy says:

I would ABSOLUTELY love to get Lasik! I have had contacts/glasses for the past 15 years and rarely wear contacts because I cannot seem to find a pair that aren’t blurry or dry out too quickly :( This is an awesome giveaway, thank you!!!

  184. kdiddy says:

I would love to win LASIK because my vision is so poor. I also cannot see anything more than 4 inches from my face without contacts or glasses.

  185. Amanda O. says:

Just last week I was talking to some friends about how I’d love to have the procedure but the cost is just out of the question. Winning this would be a total life changer!

  186. Julie B says:

My vision has been an issue since 3rd grade (I’m now 30) and I would LOVE to have a lasik procedure to correct my vision and finally have freedom from glasses and contact lenses! Eliminating my problems of my eyes’ constant dryness/redness/irritation would be such a HUGE relief. I have always wished for a chance to have a lasik procedure but financially it’s never been possible for me. This would be such a wonderful gift!

  187. Kristyn M says:

I would LOVE to win because I am tired of wearing glasses/contacts during every waking minute. And even with those my vision isn’t 100%! Thanks for offering this giveaway!

p.s. I’m frustrated that I can’t see my alarm clock across the room without glasses!

  188. Deidra says:

Thick lenses, even with high index lenses. That’s why I’d love LASIK!

  189. Kellen says:

I’ve been debating getting Lasik for YEARS now (I’m tired of contact battle), but always put it on the back burner due to cost. Now this giveaway would be solve that problem ;) Brilliant!!

  190. courtney schnee says:

I I I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have Lasik surgery. My eyes are horrible! I’ve worn glasses/contacts since 2nd grade. I cannot get a prescription that corrects my eyes 50/50….I’m always embarrassed and dread going to the eye doctor because I can never read below the second line! ahhh! I have floaters and will probably eventually have detached retinas like my father. ugh! I LOVE YOUR BLOG!

  191. Jessica says:

What an amazing giveaway. The main reason I want Lasik is so that I can wake up in the morning and see without fumbling for my glasses. I often miss the looks on my kids faces when they have found out that the Easter Bunny has visited or that the tooth fairy came because I cant get my glasses on fast enough. I’m sick of missing those magical moments, but don’t have it in the budget to do it myself. I hope that I win because it would be such an incredible gift not to miss these precious times.

  192. Samantha says:

I would love to have Lasik because it would be awesome to wake up in the morning and be able to see the alarm clock!

  193. Abby says:

I would love to get Lasik! I’ve worn glasses since I was in third grade and there have been so many beach trips, roller coaster rides, and 3-D movies that just go go quite right because I can’t see :-( Even if I don’t win, Lasik is on the Bucket List!

  194. Judy L says:

I would LOVE to get LASIK. I’ve been contemplating it for the last 3 years. Sometimes I end up falling asleep on the couch and wake-up 30 minutes later with my contacts glued to my eyeballs. I would love to wake up and not have to pry them off; it’s the worse thing! I would also like to wake up and see what time it is w/o putting on my glasses.

  195. Brandy says:

It would be for me and I need it because I cannot walk into story without my eyes tearing up from dust getting in between my eye and contact. This would be a life saver!!

  196. Erin says:

Not having to worry about contacts or glasses any more would just be amazing. they can be such a pain sometimes…

  197. Janessa says:

I would LOVE to have Lasik done! I have been saving for a few months now. I went to a consultation and I am already approved to have it done, but I just didn’t have the money. I am active and play a lot of sports, but cannot wear contacts. So I am constantly having to worry about my glasses and it is so annoying!

  198. Krista says:

I would be truly grateful if I won this procedure. I have wanted Lasik for years but financially cannot afford it. As a young professional who struggles on a non-profit salary I have been paying hundreds of dollars in contacts each year. Saving the money on contacts and having the freedom to wake up without the need of glasses or contacts would be life changing. I can’t even remember what it was list to wake up and not need glasses to read my clock or to watch TV. I would be more then estatic to win this fabulous prize, as it is something that I will most likely not have money to afford personally anytime soon but have been wanting for years.

  199. Kristin C. says:

I would love to have LASIK done! I’ve worn glasses since the third grade and although I love my glasses, it would be such an advantage to get this procedure done! My eyesight is horrible and LASIK would eliminate the process of picking out the cutest yet in budget frames, buy the lenses, realize you need the more expensive polycarbonate because you have bottlecap lenses, and so on. This would just be a dream =) and to think of all the cute sunglasses they have that I could wear because I don’t need prescriptives!!!!

  200. Erika R says:

I would love to win this for my dad. He started wearing glasses 10 years ago and misses his youthful eyes. He absolutely HATES wearing glasses. His 59th birthday is October 3rd and the gift of 20/20 visions would be amazing for him. I hope can win this for him! Thank you!

  202. I would love to win a LASIK procedure for ME! I’ve worn glasses since grade school. I remember watching old Doris Day movies every Sunday afternoon as a kid and thinking that in the 60s they must not have had good cameras because it was all so blurry! Being finally free of contacts and glasses … not having to take my glasses off to do detail work … would be such a blessing. Thanks for the chance!

I was saving up to get LASIK two years ago and then my husband lost his job, so that money was needed to pay bills. He just started back to work last week, but it will be a while before we catch up on bills and I can start to save again. Thank you for such an amazing opportunity!

  205. Alison says:

I would love to have LASIK done because I’ve never had good vision and have worn contacts since I was twelve. Having LASIK would help save money and would help me feel safe at night since I can’t see anything with such a severe nearsighted problem. Thank you for such an opportunity!

  209. Sorita says:

I would love for my husband to be able to have this gift! His brother had this done several years ago and my husband has been talking about it for at least a decade. 214. Tobi B. says:

I’ve been wearing glasses since I was in Grade 4 and I’m now in my almost-40s! Just one morning I would love to see my husband’s face when he kisses me goodbye or see the smile on my girls’ faces when they bring me breakfast in bed!! I’m a lucky woman but feel like I miss thing because I can’t see them! So selfishly…this procedure would be for me! ;-)

I would love LASIK and have been looking into it for some time. Last time I went to the eye doctor to get contacts he told me that from now they wouldn’t be able to make them for me anymore and LASIK was my only option. So, now I wear glasses everyday and would love to not have to!

    What a great giveaway!

  217. Sarah Dillbeck says:

I am just like you were! I can barely see anything at all with out my contacts. Everything is a big blur and I definitely have to have the alarm clock with in inches of my face to even read it! A wooping 15 years! I desperately need this to correct my astigmatism and poor vision! I dream of the day I will not have to pop those suckers in my eyes!

  227. Rena says:

It’d be great bc I’m also one of those who cant see the alarm clock without picking it up to my face (or putting on my -9.00 prescription glasses)! What a great opportunity. thanks!

  228. Silvia says:

I would love to win this! I’ve had glasses since I was 12 and as a full-time student, I definitely spend the majority of my days wearing them! I was going to wait until I turned 25 to get the laser eye surgery, but that birthday came and went. Now that I’m back in school getting my master’s, I have at least another year or two before I can afford the procedure. Help a girl out! :)

  229. Lindi Haws says:

I’m normally don’t enter contest because I’m like the unluckiest person alive, but this is too good to pass up! I’ve been wearing glasses/contacts since I was in 5th grade and would love the life changing opportunity to have Lasik surgery. It’s one of those things that has always been on my “so desperately want” list, but has been pushed back due to the cost. Having the surgery would improve my quality of life (and itchy eyes) dramatically! I would just die if I won!

  230. Jennifer says:

  232. Abbi says:

  233. Bridget says:

As a mom of a toddler and due with another one in a couple of months it would be so wonderful to not have to fumble for my glasses in the middle of the night every time one of the kids wakes up.

  234. Elisabeth says:

Reading everyone’s posts, it seems like most of us have similar stories.. glasses from a very young age (2nd grade), can’t see a darn thing when we get out of bed (were did my glasses go?), and LASIK surgery is way out of the budget($4000??). So good luck everyone!
I would love to win so that I can SEE all the time. No fumbling and half blind moments when you are caught without glasses or contacts. Heaven.

  235. Lindsay says:

It would be for the hubby. Hes got such terrible eyes. He keeps talking about wanting to do Lasik and this would be perfect!!

  236. Deandra says:

I would use it myself. I’m sick of the glasses and contacts. The thought of lasik is a bit frightening for me, but I’d jump at the opportunity!

  237. Tracy says:

This is awesome! I would love to have LASIK surgery to correct my vision. I am lucky in that I am near sighted in one eye and far sighted in the other, so if I don’t wear my contacts, I can make do, but it would be lovely to have clear vision!! Thank-you for the opportunity.

  238. Alicia says:

I would use this surgery for me I have been wearing glass since six months and it sounds like I am like how you were.

  239. This is the coolest give away ever! I would have to be selfish and use this one for mylself. I have had horrible eyesight for as long as I can remember. I finally got glasses in the 3rd grade and my eyes have just gotten worse and worse ever since. I work graveyard shifts and my contacts just bother me all night and make it hard for me to work. i have always wished I had the money for LASIK!

  240. christy says:

I would love to have lasik to see my 2 young children grow up better. The older I get the worse my vision is getting. (I have a degenerative condition.)

  241. nicoleferguson says:

I am horribly nearsighted and for me, wearing glasses and contacts is such a hassle. I recently went through a divorce, had a daughter, and have been reinventing myself and starting over. The journey has been quite challenging but very rewarding and I am enjoying myself so much. I changed my hair color from brunette to blonde, I am dressing in styles I never thought I would, and no longer wearing glasses or contacts would be the cherry on top. :)

  242. Kim P says:

I have always wanted this done! A bunch of people I know have had the procedure, and have loved it!! I am a graphic designer, so having good vision is a huge part of my job. I have worn contacts and glasses for the past 15 years, and its time consuming & expensive! Crossing my fingers : )

  243. Jaylene says:

It would be the simple things — I would love to see the clock next to my bed in the morning.

  244. Abby says:

I would love to have lasik done! I’m sick of spending so much to get my eyes checked and buying contacts and glasses. It’d be amazing to wake up and be able to see. I hate waking up in the morning and scrambling for my glasses or when I’m out and my contacts get really dry and i want to rip them out of my eyes.

  245. Stacy Bennett says:

I would love to win the LASIK procedure! I have been wearing glasses/contacts since 1st grade! My eye sight is SO bad that I can’t see my alarm clock at night without my glasses. With baby #2 on the way any day, it would be great to have LASIK done for all those late night feedings!

  246. Angela Duncan says:

I would LOVE to have lasik so I could leave behind the expense and inconvenience of contacts and glasses. It would be pretty amazing to be able to see when I get up in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning!

  247. I would love to be the luck winner of this prize!!! I have been wearing glasses/contact lenses since high school. My eye sight has gotten so much worse over the years and recently have not been able to wear my contacts. It makes it really difficult as a photographer to not be able to see clearly through my lens. Winning this would make my life so much better!

  248. Falon says:

Wow! I would so love to win this prize! I am an English teacher and reading thousands of essays every year has done a number on my vision! I would love to be able to wake up in the morning and see clearly for the first time in many, many years. What an amazing opportunity!

  249. Emilie says:

I would love to win Lasik for myself. I would love to not have the hassle of classes/contacts, especially for camping, watching my daughter in the pool, and general comfort. Hope I win!

  250. Casey says:

I would LOVE to win this surgery! I am a nurse, and cannot really wear glasses at work – they are always falling off my face! And contacts irritate my eyes, so I constantly just can’t really see! This would be wonderful for me!

  251. Cassie says:

I would love to get LASIK surgery because I have worn glasses since 1st grade and have dreamed of never having to wear them again. Although not blind in the typical sense, my vision is so bad that I am considered legally blind. It would be wonderful to be able to get up in the morning and see without putting my glasses on or my contacts in and to not have to carry around contacts because I loose them.

  252. Nicole says:

I would LOVE to win a free LASIK surgery for myself. I’m 27 years old and have had vision problems since I can remember. I am a new mom and would like not only to see clearly through my own eyes buy also through the eyes of our new bundle of JOY (minus having to grab a pair of goggles to tell the difference between a boo boo and REAL booboo, if you get my drift). And, yes, it’s really that bad.
Thank you for the opportunity for such a great giveaway!

  253. Shalyce Hokanson says:

I would love love love LASIK because I have developed an eye condition basically from contact over use. I get big headaches and my eyes itch and hurt with contacts, but I can not stand wearing glasses. LASIK would be so amazing!

  254. christina says:

I would LOVE to win this Lasik procedure for myself. I’ve had to use glasses/contacts for over 20 years and to be free of the gear required for my bad eyesight (contacts, glasses, contact solution, contacts case, etc) would be priceless. I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve forgotten contact solution on overnight trips. I’m sure my husband would also like for me to get this as he won’t have to make trips to walgreens in the middle of night to get my contacts solution!

  255. coralee says:

OOOOOH! I would LOVE to have the procedure done. I’ve worn glasses for as long as I can remember and have always longed to see when I’m swimming or in the rain etc. Dream to come true?

  256. paula batton says:

I would love Lasik surgery. I have two crazy boys, that jump from the pool to playing ball so quickly and I have to wait in put in my contacts so often. It would be great not to have to slow down their momentum by having to do so.

  257. Jessica says:

My eye sight is not that bad, however, everyone in my family is blinder than bats. I could balance a wobbly table with my mothers glasses lenses. That said, if I should win, it would be for her!

  258. Melissa Norelli says:

Every morning when my kids come into the bedroom I have to say…”Wait one minute until I get my glasses/contacts so I can see you”. I would love to clearly see their faces…they are so happy to see me…I hate missing their first morning expressions because I am blind as a bat : )

  259. summer parker says:

I’ll be first to say the idea of the surgery sounds scary. Or maybe I’m a scary person :-). But I would love to not have to wear glasses or contacts anymore. I would love to just be able to wake up in the morning and see instead of having to grab my glasses first. I would love to be able to stop poking at my eye to put in and take out contacts. I love to stop feeling the irritation contacts can give my eye. I would defiantly choose my brother to have this with me since he’s a college student and would love to stop wearing contacts and glasses. We would both love to not have to deal with the over all discomfort and hassle with glasses and contacts period. SO PICK ME! :-)

  260. melaniekahl says:

I have a terrible astigmatism. This means that even when I wear contacts, I’m uncomfortable. The thick toric lenses never seem to make it through the day and my face is bogged down by glasses (okay – they are kind of cute).

I’d love lasik to make my glasses more of a fashion choice than an optical necessity!

  261. RENEE BELL says:

I would really LOVE to win the FREE LASIK surgery for my WONDERFUL husband!! He has worn glasses since 3rd grade and can’t see a thing without them!! He always puts the needs of our family ahead of his own needs, so this surgery has always been put on the back burner….

  262. Stephanie says:

Lasik is something I’ve been considering for a long, long time. Contacts have really started bothering my eyes and I’ve recently switched to daily contacts…. waaay more expensive! What a dream it would be not to have to worry about contacts and glasses anymore!

  263. erica c says:

I have been dreaming of having Lasik for years! Oh please, oh please, oh please, oh please!!!! :)

  264. Sharon says:

If I won, I would have my husband get the Lasik. He actually did it before, but it it seems you need to have touch ups as he is wearing glasses now. He’s very active with our kids, so not having to wear glasses would be awesome!

  265. Christina says:

I would love to get Lasik! This is something that I have always wanted to get but can just never justify spending that kind of money on myself. It is just such a pain wearing contacts. I love ridding with the car window down, ridding in a boat and other things like that but end up irritated the whole time because of the wind drying my contacts out. Also going anywhere is such a pain – do I have my glasses, contact case, solutions blah…blah…blah. I can’t imagine would it would be like to wake up in the morning and actually be able to see the clock!!!

  266. Danni says:

It would be for me. Ive worn glasses since i was about 12 but was always very self concious so i never really wore them as i was always teased so that made my eyes even worse. At the age of 29 im well aware of having to wear them all the time or else i cant see a thing. And im terrified of contacts weird i know. Im also terrified of laser surgery but know how amazing that oppurtunity woould be. I would love to be able to see.

  267. amybrooks says:

I would give the surgery to my husband. He can’t see a thing without his glasses or contacts. It would be great for him to be able to see his family first thing in the morning. He is a great dad to my son (his step son) and a fabulous husband, much more than we could ever have hoped for!! It would be an honor to be able to give him this very amazing gift. I worked for an optometrist a few years ago. We had the privilege of working with the LASIK Vision Institue and I trust them 100%. It would be a dream come true for him. And peace of mind for me because I know he would be in good hands! Thanks for this oppurtunity.

  271. Ashlie says:

I have been wearing glasses since the third grade and my vision is so bad that without them everything unless it’s an inch away from my face is a complete blur. That’s why I would be thrilled to win Lasik eye surgery!

  274. AshleyCW says:

This is an amazing contest. I would love to have LASIK because it would provide me with…freedom!! I can be free without glasses and contact lenses. My 6 month old daughter is obsessed, I mean OBSESSED with my glasses so I barely wear them. I also would love to be able to wake up and can see farther then my arms can reach.

  275. Kim O. says:

Would LOVE to win this for my hubby! I got LASIK a few years ago and feel guilty that he’s still blind as a bat;-) I know he’d be thrilled! Thanks for the awesome giveaway HWTM!!!

  276. Kimiko says:

Although I do not have perfect vision, I would like to win this prize for my mom. She’s worn glasses since as long as I can remember, but has never had the money to afford things like this for herself. Especially during these times, since she is taking care of her aging mother and her brother, who has down-syndrome and now recently diagnosed with alzheimers…she never has money or time for herself, so I really think she deserves a break!

  277. Dessica says:

I would use the Lasik for myself. I would love to be able to see my baby without having to search for my glasses in the middle of the night or put in contacts that irritate my eyes all day. That would be life changing!!

This would be for ME!! I have terrible vision. I am so tired of wearing glasses, but I can not see as well through contacts. I miss my sunglasses! I have been wanted LASIK surgery for years. My mom had it done where she can see far with one eye and close with the other…technology is crazy these days!!

  279. Patty Atkins says:

You have no idea how long I have wanted this. I have worn glasses since the age of 10. The big E is blurry….I go into a panic when I knock my glasses off the nightstand….do not water ski anymore because just don’t like not being able to see when I do. Oh I could go on and on.

What a fantastic giveaway! What a great gift this would be for my husband! After saving money for Lasik (and to fix our car) but having to use our savings for more immediate things, fixing my husband’s eye sight has been put on the back burner time and time again. He does SO much for our family…working full time, school, church service, mentoring, etc, I would LOVE to give him a gift that’s just for him to help his life easier. I’m crossing my fingers!

  284. Candace S says:

I would love to have Lasik! It has been on my wish list for years. I’ve been wearing glasses/contacts since middle school. I’m ready to be free of this burden, and I too would like to see the numbers on the alarm clock in the middle of the night!

  285. Dana says:

I would love to have LASIK. I have had horrible eyesight since I was a child. I remember how life-changing it was when I finally got glasses and was finally able to see clearly for the first time. I was in 4th grade. Kids teased me about my glasses and physical awkwardness until I was able to get contacts at age 14. Another life-changing moment. I teach special needs students and have 3 kids myself. I love to read to them and reading is one of my very favorite things to do. One of my biggest fears as I grow older is becoming legally blind like my grandfather was growing up. Right now without my contacts I can see clearly past about 4 inches. LASIK would be another life-changing moment for me, and one that I may not be able to afford on my own. I know that whoever wins will be very fortunate, and I hope it’s me!

  286. Darla says:

I think I would give this to my husband who drives for a living and needs good vision!

Would be for me and my blue eyes.

I would love to have LASIK so I can be free from poking my finger in my eye every day and night to put in or take out contacts. I long to be able to not wear horrendous prescription sunglasses or constantly squint when wearing regular glasses in the outdoors. It would be great to wear glasses in the rain and not need to wipe them off whenever I am outside. Thanks to The LASIK Institute and Hostess with the Mostess for this opportunity!!

  289. Jenny says:

I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 10 years ago. I can’t even remember what my life was like before glasses and contacts. How amazing would it be to wake up and be able to see clearly!

If I got lasik…i would lay in bed with a book and NOO glasses! I hate falling asleep with my glasses on!

  296. melissa n says:

LASIK surgery would be a dream come true for me! I have very sensitive eyes and no matter what kind of contact lenses I have tried, I struggle on a daily basis with dry, irritated eyes. To be able to see perfectly clearly, without the annoyance of constantly putting in eye drops or rubbing my eyes, would improve my quality of life drastically! Please pick me!

I would love to win for ME! I’ve been wanting LASIK for a while now but haven’t done it yet. Was actually doing some research on Sunday about it. Fingers crossed!!

  302. mydezine says:

Lasik would be a life changer. I’ve had glasses since kindergarten, and have always felt self conscious wearing them since I was the only kid with them. My daughter has gone blind in the last year, so I really understand and appreciate what kind of gift this would be. How lovely to be assured that my vision will support both of us.

  303. Julie says:

I would love to win this for my astigmatism it sure would help with the squinting and headaches that I get…great giveaway:)

  304. Celenia says:

This is such an amazing giveaway. I would love to get Lasik surgery for myself as I have had to wear glasses and eventually contacts since I was a very little girl. I remember having to go and get glasses from a community center because my mother couldn’t always afford to buy me glasses or having to tape up my glasses because we couldn’t afford getting them repaired. The money that has been spent on glasses/contacts up until now in addition to what I’d be paying to continue purchase glasses and contacts for the rest of my life only makes having Lasik surgery that much more sense.

  305. Suzanne says:

Oh wow! I have wished for LASIK for years but doubt we’ll ever have the extra money. Eye exams, contacts, and glasses continue to get more expensive, not to mention contact solution, prescription sunglasses, etc. I would love to live without the hassle and expense of contacts and/or glasses.

  306. Courtney F. says:

This would be a great thing to win! I’m a new mom, and my glasses are always in danger of being grabbed by my daughter. It would be great never to have to wear them!

  307. Callie B. says:

What a fabulous giveaway!!! I would love to give this Lasik prize to my sweet father..who is the most kind, giving, selfless man I have ever known. He is such a bright spot in my life, but has been bogged down by poor vision and glass most of my life! I would love for him to see with clarity…his sweet grandchildren, to do activities with the family and not worry about his glasses flying off, to just boost his self-confidence…even though he would never admit it I know it would make him happier! :) I love him with all of my heart and would love to give him this wonderful prize!

    Thank you!

  308. alisoncarrier says:

I have worn glasses since I was four years old and almost went blind because of it. I even had to wear an eyepatch to make my weaker eye stronger. I’ve wanted lasik since I was in high school. I’d like to be able to wake up and see my partner’s face without having to put on my glasses. This would be a dream. Thank you!

  314. Felicia says:

Gosh what a wonderful giveaway! I would love to have LASIK because I just want to wake up and be able to see. Good luck to everyone!

  317. jessica says:

I would love to win this….I cannot function without correction and suffer from severe eye allergies to the point where I look like I have pink eye.Trust me its not fun. So that means choosing between wearing contacts or otherwise using my allergy eye drops. This would change all of that completely.

  318. Tracy says:

  320. Kelli says:

Well, I am going to try to express my longing for Lasik eye surgery with the truth. I failed my eye exam in kindergarten and wore glasses from then til 12 years of age. It was then I wore colored contact lenses:) About 4 years ago, I couldn’t tolerate even the daily lenses and had to go to glasses full time. I am near sighted. I was evaluated for Lasik surgery 3 years ago, but had too much eye dryness. I tried the prescriptions, punctal plugs, eye drops, omega oils, etc…all to be denied surgery. I was so bummed! Well, about a month ago I got checked again, and my doctor saw great improvements! He released me to have Lasik, but it’s a difficult time financially with my kids turning 1 and 4 years old in the next month, then the holidays hit, then there’s always something more important we need to spend money on! I cannot tell you in words how VERY much winning this miraculous eye surgery would mean to me! Such a wonderful gift! Thank you for considering me as your winner;)

  321. Kim P. says:

I would love Lasik because it would be lovely not to run into walls anymore! :) I’ve been wearing glasses since 3rd grade, and my vision has progressively gotten worse–much, much worse. It would definitely be nice to not have to worry about not having my contacts in if an emergency happens in the middle of the night, too! What a great giveaway!

  322. Melanie says:

I’d love to have the procedure done so when I wake up in the middle of the night, I know whether or not I have to get up! Trying to find my glasses so I can figure out if it’s a 3 or an 8 (it’s probably 1) would be heaven.

  326. Cortney says:

I have been wearing glasses/contacts since I was 11. I used to have hard contacts that made my eyes red and were sore all of the time. It would be such a relief to not have to worry about lenses or wearing my glasses! Recently, I got a small scratch on my eye and had to wear my glasses the ENTIRE week while on a cruise to the Caribbean…what a bummer!

  329. Carolyn Swaney says:

I’d love to win Lasik for myself…I have been wearing glasses / contacts since 3rd grade, and I’d love to be able to go a day without cleaning them at stoplights, waking up blind, and feeling groggy when I’m not tired. Plus, today is my anniversary…what a great present!

  330. sam says:

I would love to win Lasik. It’s something my boyfriend and I have talked about saving up for… being a poor grad student is not making that a very current possibility. I’d love to be able to see clearly.

  331. Ryan Sutherland says:

One of the very few memories I have from an early age is getting my first pair of glasses and how that changed my world. I’d love to relive something like that again with LASIK.

    Thanks for the contest. =)

  332. Michelle says:

What an amazing give-away! I would love to win this so my husband could have Lasik done. It would be such a help to him as he often absent-mindedly forgets his glasses around the house and can’t find them, and he has to take them off to play sports, then can’t see. This would be so nice!!

  336. Timbo says:

I’d actually have the lasik done for either my dad or my dog, believe it or not. I doubt they’d be able to do it for our pups, because he’s starting to get cataracts, so I think my dad would enjoy getting rid of his glasses :)

Please feel free to contact me at – allrightyes at gmail dot com

  337. Janet says:

Thank you for such a fantastic give-away! I would use this for myself. I need glasses but don’t wear them because they drive me crazy, hurt my ears, & never focus as clearly as they should; and this is from being tested & fitted by many different doctors and technicians.

  338. Laurel says:

If I won this, I would gift the procedure to my fiance so he wouldn’t have to fuss with contacts anymore.

  339. kc says:

I would love to get LASIK because I’ve been wearing glasses since childhood and it’s been one miserable/expensive journey! I would love to be able to go out without worrying that a contact lens is going to fall out, an eye will get irritated, or my glasses won’t match with what I’m wearing. LASIK would be a major dream come true. :) Good luck, all!

  340. gellegirl says:

This would be a dream come true for my husband, at 44 he can’t ever be without those darn coke bottle glasses, except for when he sleeps. I would be so excited to present this prize to him!

  341. Kyra says:

I would love to win Lasik for myself! My vision was perfect until I was in college when I noticed I couldn’t see the blackboard from the back of the room anymore. Over the years, it has gotten progressivley worse and I can’t see 2 feet in front of me (clearly)now without glasses or contacts on. I’d love to be able to wake up and be ready to go and not have to deal with contacts or glasses! Thanks for the chance!

  342. Vicky Boackle says:

i would love to be free of glasses and contacts.

  343. Susanna says:

Hooray for LASIK! I would love to have LASIK so I’m not completely dependent on my glasses and contacts. I also can’t see the alarm clock right in front of my face. I would love to be able to wake up in the morning and simply look out the window, or go to bed without worrying about taking out my contacts. It’s the little things.

  344. Leigh Isom says:

My husband and I would both love to have Lasik. His vision is worse than mine and his contacts often cause him discomfort, so if I win I will give the prize to him. I have the best husband!

  345. jessica w. says:

I would love to win this for myself or my husband, we both are planning on saving up for this surgery once we have all of our students loans paid off and are debt free. We both have bad vision, and it would make life easier on a daily basis. It would be an amazing gift!

  346. Laura P says:

I definitely have spent TONS of money on glasses/contacts since forever. I would love to be able to wake up on my wedding day and not worry about putting contacts in!!

  347. E.B. says:

I’ve spent years caring for others and would would love to have LASIK for myself. I have researched it for years but something always happened and the savings needed to be used for something else.

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune rheumatic disease, and I am starting to loose grip and control of fine details with my hands. Putting in my contacts is getting harder and I often spend more time dropping them than getting them into my eyes. My eyesight leaves me unable to go without vision correction, and glasses don’t give the freedom that I would like. It is hard to wear glasses on the days I spend lying down because of chemo treatments leave me exhausted. There will also be a time when my arms won’t be able to go up to my face to put glasses on my face. Having LASIK would be one less struggle in my fight for this incurable disease. Thank you for considering me.

  348. Stephanie Storm says:

I would give the surgery to one of the nicest, best people I know…who also happens to be my brother in law–Tim Lowry. I had the surgery a few years ago and it is an amazing gift to be able to give! Please pick me and my Holiday shopping for Tim will be done! Thanks!

  349. Pamela says:

WOW!! If I were lucky enough to win I would use it for myself. I have worn glasses and contacts since middle school and I have been saving up the past 2 years for lasik and just haven’t been able to get close to the amount I need! This would be such a blessing!

  350. Stacey Warnick says:

This would be awesome! I had lasik 10 years ago. It had been the.best.thing.ever!!! My hubby would love, love, love it as well. This would be an awesome surprise for him! Thanks for the great blog. Love all your ideas.

  351. Alyssa says:

I would like to have Lasik surgery because I’ve had glasses, and then contacts, since I was 10 years old. That’s 18 years of blurry vision. Plus contacts are expensive!

  352. darcy says:

WoW – this would be amazing! No more having my daughter run in with my glasses in the morning so I can see her. I have had contacts/glasses since I was in the 7th grade and would love to toss them in the trash!

  353. i would LOVE this. I’ve had glasses since 1st grade. My Rx is currently -10.5 in contacts…. And I STILL can’t read street signs or see details further than 15 feet. I know I don’t qualify for LASIK because my corneas are too thin, but if I won, I’d apply the prize balance to an ICL procedure. This would change my LIFE.

  354. Debbie says:

I would love to win this procedure for myself so that I can enjoy seeing my grandchildren a little more clearly and not have to mess with glasses or contacts any longer.

  355. Christi B. says:

Oh, this would make my husband’s day, actually life! : ) He is one of those who has to look closely at the alarm clock too and has been dreaming of having this surgery done. Would be a total blessing to him!

  356. Michelle says:

I have wanted to get LASIK done for years but am terrified, even though friends and family told me it’s a simple and quick procedure. I’m so tired of relying on glasses and contacts and would love to wake up and see everything clearly again!

  357. Cher says:

This procedure would be for my sister or brother in law!

  358. Lene Thomas says:

I would get the lasik treatment myself. My vision is legally blind if it could not be corrected with contacts/glass. I’ve had glasses since I was five, let’s just say almost my whole life.

  359. Brandi says:

I would love to give the lasik to a friend who has battled with her eyesight for years! She’s been wanting to get lasik but just couldn’t afford it! What a great giveaway!

  360. Anna says:

I’d love to have LASIK done on me! I’ve been wanting to do it for a very long time but haven’t wanted to spend the $$ on myself when I have children and a husband to take care of. This would be a real treat!

  361. Happi Shopr says:

I wonder if it would work for hubby who was born with cataracts like tiny grains of sand over his eyes? If so, it would so be for him. If not, I’d love to be able to see two feet in front of me without glasses or contacts.

  362. Rachel Stroetz says:

As much as I’d love Lasik for myself (I scuba dive, and there isn’t really a good solution for divers with vision problems), I’d pass the prize on to my boyfriend. He can’t use contacts, and I know he’d love to be able to wear a pair of wraparound sunglasses while driving, or go out in the rain without having to immediately clean his glasses.

  363. Kristine says:

If I was the lucky winner, it’d be a dream come true! I’ve been waiting to have LASIK done for as long as I can remember, but it’s just been too costly. I can’t wait for the day when I will no longer need contacts or glasses to see.

  364. Brianna Totten says:

Although my eyesight is quite shot as it is, I can handle bringing my glasses around, and sometimes, glasses are just the accessory I need! My mother, however, has wanted LASIK for close to ten years now! I would just LOVE to win this for her, I would LOVE for her to finally be able to see tree branches instead of blobs, mountains and cracks in the sidewalk. I know it would just mean the world to her!

  365. JEe H. says:

I would LOVE to get lasik done, this is an amazing giveaway! I am totally blind without my glasses, how nice would it be to shower and see what I am washing :)

  366. JEe H. says:

I would LOVE to get lasik done, this is an amazing giveaway! I am totally blind without my glasses, how nice would it be to shower and see what I am washing :)

  367. Marian says:

I really need Lasik now that I have an infant. It’s so hard to wake up in the morning and root around for my glasses. Lasik would make things so much easier and save me a lot of time as a new mom!

  368. I would love this because I hate wearing glasses. I have worn them since I was a kid. They are so annoying! I would love to be able to see well without them.
    smchester at gmail dot com

  369. Melissa says:

it would be perfect for me! My fiance loves being able to wake up everyday and see…. where i’m struggling to find where i left my glasses… or sticking contacts in my eyes! :(

Oh! how life would be different with good eyesight! :)

  370. Danielle says:

I have been wanting to get LASIK for years. I have been wearing glasses for over 20 years and I also have TMJ. Having TMJ, I have horribly sensitive temples and ears – so to wear glasses is often painful. I’ve tried contacts, but my eyes are just too dry. The thought of LASIK would mean freedom from pain and being able to see clearly!!!! Thank you for hosting such an amazing give away.

  371. June g. says:

ME ME ME! I’ve worn glasses for over 30 years. I’ve tried contacts but always scratch my eyes somehow. I’m not fond of the pirate look. Having LASIK would prolonge the need for Botox;)

  372. Jen Carver says:

I recently went into the DMV to renew my driver’s license (it had been 10 years) and was completely flabbergasted when the representative behind the counter told me I was ‘not even close’ when I read him the letters and numbers on the eye chart. After asking me if I needed to be wearing contacts or glasses, he said the eye test should be ‘so easy’ and is geared for 20/40 vision. Having had 20/20 vision my entire life, this came as a shock. I think due to mercy, he passed me for my license that day (barely)with a strong urging to go be seen by an opthamalogist. I was seen last week and am in the process of follow up tests to make sure there is no serious underlying cause for my rapid decrease in vision. I would love the opportunity to restore my vision to 20/20 so that I can enjoy my 4 children with the eyes I am used to. What a cool opportunity!

  373. Adrienne Gift says:

My husband is the most selfless person that I have ever known. There have been moments in our life where getting LASIK might have been an option, but instead of getting something for himself he always decides to give to others or our family. This time I think he deserves something for him!

  374. Angelica says:

I would love to have LASIK for myself! I’ve had glasses since 3rd grade and contacts since 8th grade. I would love to be able to get up in the middle of the night without feeling around for my glasses to go to the bathroom or having to leave work early because my contact lens tore (happened at least 5 times). I can only afford contacts because my insurance covers it, so winning this surgery would be a dream come true!

  375. Heather says:

Let me just say that this has to be the best giveaway ever. I have worn glasses since the ripe old age of 7. Ensuring that all through school I heard the usually taunting and such. Fast forward 25 years later and 20+ trips to the eye doctor with 20+ prescription changes and new glasses and new contacts and…$$$ adding up year after year, lasik sure would be nice! My vision is really bad, I’m talking coke bottle thick lenses that make your eyes look tiny and skewed. A one time procedure, done and over, vision corrected and being able to experience what it is really like to SEE first thing in the morning (or anytime of day really) without any help. Thanks for the awesome giveaway opportunity!

  376. Christi Koberg says:

I would love to win Lasik for my dad. He has worn glasses since childhood, but a few years ago he was diagnosed with skin cancer and had to have a significant portion of his nose removed. It is now very painful for him to wear glasses and he would love to get Lasik but he was laid off from his job over a year ago and can’t afford it.

  377. Lenny says:

This would definitely be for me :) Glasses since first grade so this would just be awesome!!!! Thank-you!

my eyes have been going downhill rapidly – would love to have clear vision again and I’ve heard great things about Lasik!

I would love to be able to see without contacts! It really would be amazing to be able to see when playing with kids or getting up with them at night.

  380. Sarah Hirsch says:

I would love to have lasik because I would love to be able to see clearly! My contact lenses always feel uncomfortable, and I am tired of looking less-than-my-best in my glasses. I admit to being a little scared of the procedure, but I would do just about anything for those results, so I can tough it out. It would be nice to be able to wake up and see my surroundings without reaching for glasses on the nightstand.

  381. Maritess says:

I’d love to have lasik only because I just started running. I would love to sweat if I didn’t have to worry about my glasses. And I never felt comfortable with contact lenses especially with my allergies.

    Thank you!

  382. Jessica says:

I would LOVE to win LASIK for my husband. He is a mechanic and constantly gets things in his eyes when reaching up into cars and it messes up his contacts. Glasses just slip around and fall off. It would improve his quality of life soooooo much!

  383. Jeff says:

The procedure would be for myself.

  384. alissa says:

my eyesight isn’t horrible, but it’s bad enough to require glasses that i hate wearing! i’d love this!

  386. Janelle Bailey says:

I would be so happy to win LASIC eye surgery for my fiance. His eyes are terrible and he is as blind as a bat with his glasses off and he is so young it scares me to think of how bad his eyes will be when we are older. This would be a miracle to receive.

  387. becky bass says:

I would give this free surgery to my dear friend Jamie who most of the time only wears one contact ;)

  388. Kelly Johnson says:

I would LOVE to have LASIK. Both my sister and mom have both had the procedure and rave about it. I’d love to be able to see when I get up in the middle of the night or when I’m taking a shower and my two year old is trying to talk to me before putting in my contacts. She is just a blur.

  389. Jackie G says:

WOW this is an amazing giveaway. I would love a chance to win the LASIK prize for my horrible eyesight. I had 3 eye infections due to using contacts this year. It would be awesome to just wake up and be able to see right away without having to pat around my nightstand finding my eyeglasses.
    Thank you so much!

  390. Amie says:

PLEASE PICK ME!!! I would simply love LASIK eye surgery so that I won’t get even more wrinkles from squinting!!!

  391. MrsADS says:

Awesome giveaway! I’d love to win this for my mother. Thanks for the entry!

  392. Stephanie V says:

I would like to enter my big sister, Nicole for this contest giveaway. My sister is getting married June 30 of next summer and I being the Maid of Honor cannot imagine a better wedding gift to give my big sis. She has been wearing glasses since we were little kids. And eye contacts have always irritated her eyes more than anyone I’ve ever known. 395. Tia says:

I would love to get Lasik, but it isn’t in our budget. My vision gets worse every year. Thanks for the chance

  396. Katharine D says:

Lasik would be a dream come true for me. I have been trying to save for this for years but some household emergency always comes up which wipes out the fund. I hate wearing glasses, it ruins so many activities like swimming and exercise. Not to mention waking up in the morning and not being able to see the clock until I put my glasses on. I can’t wear contacts, have tried many times and they are just torture.

  397. Zenaida says:

I would love the opportunity to receive the gift of sight through LASIK. To be able to wake up every morning and see my husband’s face and be able to see the time without having to reach for my glasses would be an amazing blessing! There are few words to describe the impact 20/20 vision would have on my life. I tear up at the shear THOUGHT that this could be a possibility for me. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this give away.

  398. Shauna says:

The timing here could not be more amazing since my hubs and I were just trying to figure out when we could start saving for my LASIK surgery and came up with 5 more years :( I can’t wait to be able to see that alarm clock!!

  399. Shawn says:

Well, since I am that hubs who says that we have to wait for 5 more years, I would give it to my dear wife so that she stops poking me in the middle of the night and asking me what time it is.

Have had glasses for 30 years – I am so tired of them getting dirty or having them fall down my nose! Working at an airport vision is everything and I hate to think I may miss something because I am pushing my glasses back on.

  405. Solange says:

It will be for me. I can’t see without my glasses or contact, I broke my glasses and can’t afford another one right now, and LASIK I don’t even talk about because I dont see a way of getting one unless I win the lottery right now. Great sweepstake!

  406. Mary says:

I have been wanting to get LASIK! Just being able to get up and get the kids up and ready and seeing what I’m doing without searching for my eyeglasses (which my 2 year old loves to play with) definitely will save me some time!

  407. Jerry W says:

I would love to win this prize. I’ve been wearing glasses or contacts for over 30 years. I am trying to get a job in law enforcement, but my uncorrected vision is not good enough. This would allow me to answer my life’s calling!

I would love to win lasik because I have super sensitive eyes and am very prone to eye infections from contacts. 409. Beth says:

I would love to have LASIK done! My vision has been getting worse each year and I would love to be able to play with my kids without my glasses falling off, getting pulled off, getting scratched, etc. What an amazing giveaway!

I would love this for me. My eyesight is *bad.* I like to take pictures and it is hard to do that with glasses.

  411. Nang says:

I would give this to my husband — he always wanted to get this done!

  412. ofelia says:

I usually just scroll through my Google Reader while watching TV but for some odd reason I decided to pay attention this time and came across this AMAZING giveaway! I’ve worn glasses for FOREVER and am not able to wear any type of contacts because my eyes freak out. As a stay-at-home mother of 3 I am not able to afford Lasik and would LOVE to see clearly! If I don’t get this, i’d honestly still be super happy and excited for whoever does! This is a great giveaway!

  413. Bo H. says:

I would like for my husband to get lasik. His eye sight is horrible without contacts and his glasses are super old. Every year he gets his eyes checked on and they get worse and worse. So it wouls be great to win it for him!

  414. Esperanza says:

This is great! If I were to win it would be for myself. I have horrible eyesight, mostly see blurry shapes out of one eye. I wear glasses that I seem to always break or lose and using contacts would require too much money because of my astigmatism. Lasik would be a life saver!

  415. Anuhea says:

OMG!! This is awesome!! If I won I would use it to fix my terrible eyes. :) I spend a ton on contacts and glasses. It would be truly amazing if I were to win!! :) Thank you so much for the opportunity!!

  418. Katie says:

I would love to recieve Lasik! I’ve worn glasses since the age of 5 contacts since 10. I’ve never known life in focus. I had been discussing it and saving with my husband, but he recently (in June) discovered a very aggressive tumor in his jaw. 4 surgeries (with another 2 to go) and $300k in medical bills later, Lasik is just not possible for us. Thanks for such a wonderful giveaway. Even if I don’t win, someone will be very happy.

  419. Crystal says:

    What an amazing giveaway!
I’ve dreamst about having LAKIK surgery for years, but never had the money for it. I’ve worn glasses/contacts over 20 years and would LOVE to not have to worry about stumbling around to find my glasses, figiting with m contacts to get them in my eyes, losing my contacts in the pool, having my daughter pull and bend my glasses for the millionth time, being able to see more than five inches in front of my face, and not suffering headaches from glass indentions onthe backof my ears. Aww, LASIK would be a dream come true!

  420. Cami R says:

Both my husband and I have bad eyesight, although his is definitely worse. It would be so nice for one of us to be able to get up in the night with the kids without fumbling for contacts. It would definitely make all of us happier. :)

  421. Gigi says:

I would love to wake up in the morning and not feel like I’m under water. It would be amazing to wake up and actually see the alarm clock. Fingers crossed :)

  422. Teresa Miller says:

I have never had lasik eye surgery, but I have greatly suffered with a lack of vision for most of my life. I began wearing glasses when I was ten years old. Each year my eyes got progressively worse. My eyes began to stabalize when I turned 20 years of age, but I then developed an eye allergy and am now forced to wear daily contacts. It’s so frustrating to be so aware of eyes. If my contacts begin to give me trougble, I must switch contacts or revert to my glasses. So, I have to keep both with me at all times. The freedom of lasik eye surgery would be life changing. No more blurring, no more switching, no more worrying about my eyes!
If I were to win the surgery, I would keep it for myself. Most of my family members have 20/20 vision and don’t need it! I’m not sure why I got stuck with this gene, but I suppose somebody had to take one for the team!

  423. Lissa says:

Lasix will change my life in so many ways…Without glasses or contacs I cant see anything. And for some reason my eyes cant stand contacts anymore. I cant wear them for more than a few hours. I would love to win this

  424. leticiaguerrero says:

Amazing giveaway! I Need it, need it, need it! My eye sight is sooooo bad. I completely understand when you say, you had to grab the alarm clock to your face. Oh I pray I win!

  431. Anne says:

I’d love to win Lasik for myself. I’ve been wearing glasses since I was six (runs through my mother’s side in the family, you know) I think it would be really nice to wake up one morning not having to search for the glasses half-blindedly! Winning Lasik would seriously be a dream come true.

  432. Camille says:

I would gift this to my husband. He has worn glasses since he was two and has never been able to see without them. His glasses cost upwards of $750 each pair and I wish we could afford to get this treatment for him because I think it would be a moneysaver for him. I actually got a job with an eye surgeon hoping for an employee discount but that did not work out as planned. Hope we win, thanks for a great website. Love it and visit all the time. Great ideas here! Also, love the title of the site.

I would like to nominate my friend Jamie Harris for Lasik. She is such a good friend to everyone, and she deserves it. She has terrible vision, and is always squinting. I’m hoping that with Lasik we will be able to prevent her from getting those crows-feet! :)

  435. Mike L. says:

Wearing glasses is not really an option at work and contacts seem to get shredded constantly. Lasik would be amazing

  436. Jesse says:

Man – it’d be great to do this for myself. I’ve had glasses ever since I was a little kid and I’ve never been able to get into contacts. I can’t even imagine seeing the leaves on trees without my glasses on!

  437. Dawn says:

This is a great giveaway!!!!!! I have been wearing glasses since the 7th grade. I really want to know how it feels to wake up in the morning and be able to read the clock as soon as I open my eyes.

  438. Angie says:

I would love to win this for my husband who has worn glasses or contacts since age six. He, like you, cannot see anything without contacts and I would love to free him from that.

  439. Megan says:

My contacts are -9. When I wear lenses, they look like soda bottle glass. I’ve worn glasses since I was 8. I am not the world’s wealthiest 25 year old woman so winning this would be a tremendous opportunity! I would be forever grateful to hostessblog.com and would promote the site to the best of my ability (I am in PR). Good luck to all!

  440. Jermaine D. says:

Wow, this would be amazing for either me or my husband!!

  441. Vanessa says:

I’d LOVE to have Lasik done because I’ve been wearing glasses since 4th grade and contacts since 7th, Im tired of the contacts tearing or irritating my eyes or the glasses getting dirty. Id love to just wake up, brush my teeth and go!!! =) NO WORRIES!!!!

  442. Kelli Warren says:

What a life changing gift! I can relate to all of the posts on here. We all know too well (or know someone who does) how painful contacts are and what a hassle glasses are. I have always wanted to have Lasik, but financially the time has never been right. Aw, to just to imagine a contact/glasses free life :)

  443. Sarrah says:

I would love to win this gift for my husband. He wear both prescription glasses and sun glasses. We have talked about the procedure before, but because I am a SAHM we can’t really afford it. Anyway. Thanks for a chance to win!

  444. Megan W says:

I’ve been wanting Lasik for years now but it’s just never in the budget. I’d love to be able to wake up in the morning and be able to read the clock right beside me! Or see my shampoo bottle in the shower before putting my contacts in. Or go swimming without worrying about contacts. The list goes on and on…

  445. Vannessa Eggleston says:

i would LOVE to get LASIK for my husband, he has been in glasses and contacts since elementary school and can’t even remember what it is like to have perfect vision, we have a 12 month old baby and two more buns in the over and it would such a great gift for him to be able to see their smiling faces in the morning without having to stumble around for his glasses!

  447. Liz C says:

    My wife needs this!!

I would give it to my husband…poor thing is blinder than a bat and doesnt know life and the ability to wake up and just see instantly! i would love for him to tell ME the time on the clock every morning for a change ;)

  450. Anita K says:

The Lasik would be for me, because I have been wearing glasses/contacts for 22 years. I would love to be able to see my boys as soon as I open my eyes in the morning, and I would also love to have a campfire with them and not have my contacts glued to my eyes. I would love the freedom!

  451. I’d love to win this for myself. I’ve been wearing glasses since I was ten and every year my eyes get worse and my optometrist suggests Lasik but I’ve never been able to afford it. Glasses are expensive and tend to get in the way when I’m taking photos. I’d love to ditch them for good!

  452. Jennifer S says:

I would love to win LASIK because I think it will improve my quality of life and relationships. I am a painter and jewelry maker. Details are important to me. I currently have to wear my glasses for everything, but I don’t like to wear them around the house. This has caused issues for me at home because I tend to miss things when cleaning, watching tv, and even working on my craft.

  453. Rachel says:

My husband had eye corrective surgery earlier this year and he always rubs it in about how excellent his vision is. I’ve worn classes since the 4th grade. I can’t leave the house without my glasses. I need them to drive. Sometimes, I wear my prescriptive sunglasses out for the day, it gets late, and I look like a creep driving home wearing sunglasses! It would be amazing to win something…especially something life changing like this.

oh to be free of glasses and contacts.

  457. Jennifer Paige says:

I was just doing some research on LASIK as my eye doctor suggested that I would be a good candidate. After seeing how much it costs, I realized I’d never be able to afford it. This would be absolutely incredible to win. My eye sight gets worse at each checkup and this procedure would mean the world to me.

  458. Kanani says:

As trendy as my glasses are…I’d LOVE to NOT have to wear them or contacts!

  459. Maria says:

I would love to win the LASIK giveaway! Just like you, I could not see very well unless things are just inches away from my face. I’ve been wearing glasses/contacts since I was 14 and really, really miss having a clear vision without glasses/contacts.

  460. Cherie B says:

I’d totally do this for my hubby. He wears glasses/contacts. i think he’s deserving of this. I know he hates having to take time to deal with contacts when skiing, boating and just everyday life.
Hoping my husband can see things more clear with LASIK.

  461. chelsey says:

I have been having problems with my eyes for the last year and LASIK would truly change my life. I was a contact wearer for 11 years with no problems until last year when my doctor told me that I had to stop wearing them because the contacts we starving my eyes for oxegyn. It has been 8 months of glasses now and every day I dream of LASIK! My eye Dr. said that my only option besides glasses would be LASIK, which I would love but do not know if I can afford right now. Winning this contest would be AMAZING!

  462. Amanda H says:

I would love LASIK. I play sand volleyball from spring to fall each year and I love photography. Both would be much easier without wearing contacts and impossible with my glasses. Thanks!

  463. Emily says:

I would absolutely LOVE to have Lasik! I am “blind as a bat” without my contacts &/or glasses. Like so many other people who have posted before me, I wouldn’t know what to do with myself if I could see without them! It would change my life completely! Please please please pick me! :)

  464. Danni says:

This is an insanely awesome giveaway!! If I won, I would get the LASIK surgery myself. I’ve had poor vision since I was about 8 or 9 and it just keeps getting worse, astigmatism, dry eyes, it’s frustrating! I switch between glasses and contacts but I would love to wake up and actually see what time it is without shoving the clock inches away from my face.

  465. Virginia says:

This is such an amazing offer! I have wanted to have this procedure done for several years but always manage to talk myself out of it. I think it would be fabulous to wake up in the morning and actually be able to see instead of stumbling around until I put on my glasses or my contacts!

  466. Donna says:

I would love to win this give-a-way because this is something I dreamed about for years!! I fully depend on corrective glasses and contacts to see everything, but it especially becomes challenging on long-drawn out days (like most, I am sure).

However, I have a special-needs daughter that spends a lot of time in the hospital in which keeps me there a significant amount of time as well. One visit we were there, I took my contacts out and cleaned them as usual. However, when I put them back in I felt continuous stinging in my eyes. I put in a fresh pair and was OK. The next night, I went through the process again and ended up with another round of pain which gave me an infection in my eyes. The assumption was some sort of germ contamination can in contact with my hands, surface, or holding materials. Whatever, the case, it has prevented me from changing them there which leads to very dry and blurry eyes.

Additionally, when we are home, she is often medicated around the clock. It would be a joy to get up and be able to see what I am doing (like giving the right medication) and not make so much noise so I do not wake her up too much.

Yes, I do have glasses but I have a really bad habit of holding my ears up to keep them in place leading to constant headaches so I opt to wear them as little as possible.

    Thanks for the opportunity!!

  467. anneygillotte says:

My first grade softball coach called my mom to ask whether I was developmentally disabled… because I never ducked when the ball came at my head! Turned out that I just couldn’t see it coming, and I’ve been wearing coke-bottle glasses for 25 years. I wonder what the world looks like through working eyes!

  468. Pam says:

I would give this procedure to my 17 year old daughter. She inherited my mother’s horrible eyesight and has been wearing glasses since she was seven.

  474. Geoff K says:

I’d love the chance to have Lasik myself – I’ve spent an arm and a leg (and an eye) on contacts with astigmatism correction over the past ten years, and I’m pretty tired of the daily maintenance on top of that. Thanks for the chance to enter!

  475. Chris Pearson says:

I’d love to have it cause I’m tired of getting new glasses every year!!

I would LOVE to win this for my husband. His vision is terrrrrrible and we’ve been avoiding purchasing a new (much needed) set of glasses for financial reasons…

I would love the opportunity to get LASIK! I’m very dependent on my glasses and contacts, it would be so nice to be free of them after all these years. Thanks for the giveaway!

  478. catherine says:

I SO hope to win the LASIK for myself. I would love to be able to play with my babies and not have to worry about my glasses being pulled off my face and thrown :) And it would do wonders for trying to look cute again without a big frame on my face! Thanks!!

  479. Kristyn says:

Lasik would literally change my life! As it is I trip out of bed trying to find my glasses (which the cat loves to knock under the bed!)… I can’t imagine if we were to get robbed, I would feel so defenseless because I can’t see! I would love to win this prize!

  484. Jessica says:

I would love to win the LASIK for myself. I’ve been considering it for a couple of years now, but being a mom of 2 and a full-time student, I just can’t afford it right now. Although my daughter would probably miss putting her “contacts” in when I do, I could definately learn to love vision without glasses or contacts.

  485. Caitlin says:

I would love to wake up in the morning and be able to see! I wear contacts and barely ever wear my glasses which is bad for the eyes. I am always worried I am going to have to wake in the middle of th night for an emergency and not be able to find my glasses. I travel a lot for my job and not having to worry about contacts or glasses would relieve some stress!

  486. Caitlin says:

Oops.. I entered my email address incorrectly..probably because I can’t see!
I would love to wake up in the morning and be able to see! I wear contacts and barely ever wear my glasses which is bad for the eyes. Not only is paying for new glasses and contacts expensive, but it’s just a hassle. I would love to be able to go to bed at night and not have to worry about taking out my contacts first, so they don’t stick to my eyes when I wake up. Thanks so much for this opportunity!

  492. Fiona Wang says:

Contacts irritate my eyes, and glasses keep sliding off my nose. This would be a wonderful gift to myself :)

  497. Lindsey says:

  498. Aidil Vasquez says:

I was so excited to read about the LASIK giveaway on the HWTM blog! I have a son who found out at age 11 that he was practically blind and we had no idea. Being a single mom at the time, working and taking care of the kids, I had neglected to get their eyes checked on a regular basis. But ever since then, we’re diligent with his appointments and changes with his prescription. He’s a gorgeous 21 year old with the glasses, but I would love to gift this to him for being a good young man.

  499. Kayla Mosal says:

If I won the LASIK eye surgery, I would give it to my dear friend Jamie Harris. She is the most giving person I have ever met. She always thinks of others first and this would be one way I could do something for her. Plus, she is beautiful inside and out. Please pick us!

I would like to win it for me. I’ve worn glasses since I was 12. I’ve tried contacts, but they dry out my eyes so fast and get very uncomfy…and now with the little frames in style for glasses, I look like a total geek (you people with nice, small heads scoff, but let me tell you, those of us with big noggins are not laughing). Lasik resoves all of those issues in an instant… or two. :)

Thank you for the incredible giveaway!!

  510. Victoria Sprehe says:

What a great giveaway! Although I would love to have Lasik myself I would give this wonderful gift to my son. He is a junior in college studying to be a civil engineer. He is also an avid outdoorsman. His eyesight is extremely poor. Several doctors have fitted him with contacts but for some crazy reason he can’t get them into his eyes (eye doesn’t open wide enough) and neither can the techs at the doctor’s office, or me for that matter. Out of frustration he has given up. I like to believe that he uses the glasses that he was prescribed but I have yet to see him wear them. I think it is sad to think he is compromising and going through life without seeing life clearly. Thank you for the opportunity to enter. Victoria

While I would love to have Lasik surgery, I would want this for my husband! He has worn glasses and contacts almost his entire life. How wonderful it would be to give him the gift of clear vision!

  512. myrna althouse says:

I would love to be able to win Lasik surgery for myself. I have worn glasses since kindergarten and I am now 30yrs old. I am near sighted and have allergies that usually cause me to wear my glasses most of the time since my contacts irritate my eyes. The only way I could wear contacts is if I buy the prescription called Alrex and after a few days I am able to wear contacts without discomfort or irritation. Glasses usually don’t fit my face well so I usually get a headache when I wear them for more than a couple hours and because my precription is so strong I have to pay $300+ to have the lenses in my glasses made thinner. I can’t afford to pay for lasik so to be able to win the surgery would absolutely change my life. :0)

  513. Amy says:

I would LOVE Lasik!! I have worn glasses since junior high and have not been able to wear contact lenses since the birth of my 2nd child. So I have been wearing glasses only for 13 years. I am so limited when it comes to water sports with my kids. Winning this would be a dream come true for me!!

  514. susan smoaks says:

i would love like because i hate having to get contacts all the time

  515. Mary Casper says:

I would love to win Lasik for myself I always had thought I was not a candidate for the procedure but recently found out it may help me

  516. Mark McCarragher says:

If I won my I would give it to my wife. She is going to need Lasik some time in the future and this would be great.

  517. Christine says:

    for my bad eyesight

  518. Jonathan says:

My fiancee desperately needs Lasik eye surgery. We’ve been together for 3 years now, and she’s always having problems with her contacts or scratching up her glasses. It wouldn’t hurt that I’d be the knight in shining armor who won the surgery for her. Thank you.

  519. Laura Lambie says:

I would love to win this for one of my children. They have both worn glasses since they were young children .

  520. Theresa M says:

My husband has been wanting Lasik for as long as I can remember. He wore glasses up until about 3 years ago, then switched to contacts. There are still so many days his eyes just won’t focus, so he gets them all red and swollen with the constant rubbing and touching he does to get relief. He keeps saying that he’ll get the surgery some day, but I know it’s a long way off. We have 2 kids and their needs will always come first- braces, school, ect, so Lasik is just not in the budget for him any time soon.

  521. Jessica says:

This would be such a blessing for my husband. He just got bifocals and is really feeling the effects of his worsening vision. Lasik would change his life so dramatically!

  522. Billy says:

I’d love to have the Lasik procedure simply because, just like you up until your surgery, I have to have my glasses on practically all hours of the day. I can stand not wearing my glasses for right around 2 to 3 minutes in the morning after i first get up, before i have major headaches setting in, just due to the bad vision i’ve been blessed with. Not having to wear and depend on my glasses the way i have to now, would be a complete life changer for me!

  523. Jaque R. says:

This Lasik procedure would be for my daughter. She has been wanting to do this but unable to afford….I think my eyes are a lost cause, but not hers. :-) Thank you so very much for this amazing opportunity.

  524. amie d says:

I would love to win this! I have worn contacts for over 10 years and my eyesight seems to be getting worse every year. I hate accidently falling asleep w/ my contacts in and waking up with them stuck in my eye. I would love to be able to wake up and actually see the alarm clock in the morning instead of setting up and moving an inch in front of it to see it. Lasik surgery is my dream and I would love to be able to afford it one day. If I could win it I would be on top of the world (and could see where I am at). Thanks!!!!!

  525. Paul says:

I would give it to my girlfriend. She is tired of wearing glasses.

  526. Pauline M says:

I would love to win this for myself. My entire family wears glasses/contacts and two of my sisters had this procedure done and absolutely loves it! I definately think it’s my turn now!

  527. Autumn B. says:

I got Lasik 4 years ago and I LOVE it!! I could never see without my glasses and waking up trying to take care of a baby in the middle of the night and not being able to see was so hard. It was well worth the money! If I won I would have my husband have the surgery, he’s been wanting it too but he got laid off 6 months ago and it just isn’t in the cards right now.

  528. Kalyn says:

My entire family has poor eyesight. We have all had to wear glasses at one point and now we have had switched to contacts which created an added expense. I would love to be able to have my eyesight fixed inorder to end my farsightedness. Not being able to see distance makes it hard for me to recognize people or objects from afar without my contacts. Once I looked out our backyard window and thought a rock was a squirrel……. This procedure would be extremely helpful both financially and personally. Thank you for holding the giveaway!

  529. Sarah L says:

This will be for me. I go swimming 3 times a week and can’t see who’s coming into the pool. I’d love to be able to see clearly without my glasses.
    Thanks for the contest.

  530. I would give this to my friend J who BADLY needs lasik!! This would so be the perfect birthday present for him.

  534. dddiva says:

I would love to have Lasik because after one of my surgeries when I came out of the anesthesia I had a sort of film over everything when I look at it and reading etc is very difficult, so probably it would be for me, but then my 18yo daughter has had issues with her eyes all her life and if this could fix them it would be a miracle for her so it’s a toss up as to whether I would use it for myself or her. Knowing me, I would probably offer it to her.

  535. Colleen S says:

Ive had bad eyesight since I was a little kid. It would be a dream not to have to worry about loosing a contact or to just get out of bed and go every morning.

  536. deana c says:

If I won I would use this for myself!

  537. Marilyn R. says:

I want LASIK so bad. I’m tired of the contacts and reading glasses. I need a more low maintenance process.

  538. Stephanie Hanson says:

I would love to have the procedure done. I’ve worn contacts for over 15 years now, and glasses when I want to give my eyes a rest from the contacts. It would be nice to not have to drag contact cases and lens solution everywhere I go. Llife would be so much simpler. Thanks for the opportunity to enter!

  539. kricket says:

I would like to gift this to my son. He would be very appreciative.
    Thanks.

  540. Justine says:

I’d love to have LASIK so I could see my husband’s handsome face the second we wake up :)

  543. LILA V says:

What a great Christmas gift this would make for my grown daughter who has worn glasses for 20 years. I’ve got my fingers crossed!
