Retro Glam Pool Party {Summer Bling!}

Retro Glam Pool Party {Summer Bling!}

“PEDIS BY THE POOL” has such a nice ring to it, don’t you think? And that’s just one of the fun elements from the adorable & fabulously girlie RETRO GLAM Pool Party that Elizabeth from Posh Paperie threw for her daughter Felicity… along with the help of biz partner Kellie of course!

A stylish, summery palette of hot pink, coral & navy brought this “glittering & glamorous” celebration to life, along with mod patterns, retro fonts, and lots of blinged-out stationery details. In addition to enjoying their poolside pedis, guests were treated to “fancy” ice cream floats, perfume bottle sugar cookies, and a “bling-y” favor station with Ring Pops, bright pink sunglasses, mini lip glosses, & more. I’m pretty sure girls of ALL ages would have a blast at this kind of summer soirée… which is why this one is getting filed under bridal shower and bachelorette too! =)

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Elizabeth

“For my daughter Felicity’s 7th birthday, we decided to do a retro glam pool party! Karrie and I decided on a color palette of navy, hot pink and shimmery coral. We styled the invitations to be full of fun typography and pulled in several patterns to make the paper products pop. We also used lots of “bling” on the stationery- tons of crystals to add sparkle.

We had a “nail” station for pedis by the pool, snacks galore, and a favor station. Each girl received a beach tote (personalized with a darling tag & ribbons) and was able to
fill her bag with treats (ring pops, necklace, perfume, lip balm & cookies). We also had an ice cream float bar with several kinds of  soda (in lieu of traditional cake)!

One of our favorite clients hand made the amazing cookies (perfume bottles and nail polish)… and we designed lots of cute signage and a custom banner to add to the decor.”

lisa SAYS:

She got them at Target. They still have them this year. I just bought a ton for my pool party. $2.50 each.

I want to know where the pink sunglasses came from?

I love the beach bags as the party bags. The signage couldn’t be cuter. Great ideas for little AND big kids.
