It’s hard to believe that it’s already mid-August and that Summer will make way for Fall soon… so if you plan to do some end-of-summer entertaining and take advantage of the warm weather while you still can (!), here’s some inspiration for a festive Red & Yellow cocktail party… inspired by one of my very favorite color palettes for colorful, sunshine-y entertaining!

Handmade PARTY DECOR Ideas {pictured above, clockwise from left}:  Strawberry & Wheatgrass Topiary from The Perfect Wedding Details; ruffled streamers from this adorable Hello, Yellow! Birthday Party; manzanita branch centerpiece with cupcake liner paper poms {via theknot.com}; cute hanging candles {via theknot.com}; and rosette paper flowers from the HWTM Sunshine & Love Bridal Shower.

SIGNATURE DRINKS: Keep things easy-breezy with ready-to-pour cocktails like Bacardi Hand Shaken Daiquiris, and serve your drinks up in shatterproof acrylic drinkware that’s perfect for entertaining, like these acrylic margarita glasses or rocks glasses from Crate & Barrel.

ON THE MENU: Add a little flair to your drinks with stylish {and super easy} garnishes of fruit and stripey straws! {image above via this real party feature}

And last but not least, treat guests to a red & yellow, summer-inspired menu that features color coordinating fruits and veggies. This summer, rediscover the daiquiri. Bacardi Hand Shaken Daiquiri is the perfect addition to any summer get-together — fun, delicious, and ready to pour. Bacardi Hand Shaken Daiquiri is made with Bacardi Superior Rum, tangy lime and sugar. It is a perfectly balanced cocktail that is not too sour and not too sweet. http://bacardidaiquiri.glam.com

Please drink responsibly.
