“Double Happiness” Baby Naming Ceremony

pink white flower bouquet and tablescape

We are over the top in love with the gorgeous floral arrangements from this party honoring twin baby girls, as coordinated by Amy Nichols Special Events. This reception was held after a traditional Hebrew Baby Naming Ceremony, and it’s full of sweet, pink inspiration & ideas that can be utilized for all sorts of occasions!

Amy’s client chose adouble happiness” theme that is incorporated in the fabulous pink details, flowering cherry blossoms, and delicious desserts. The glittered table cover adds a touch of glam to this oh-so-chic display!

This party was so much fun to work on and a true collaboration with my client – we worked together on all aspects of the design & decor – including picking out the FABULOUS linens – to come up with something that she truly loved!

The party featured dim sum and Chinese food from local San Francisco favorite, Yank Sing. There were a lot of kids in attendance, so we wanted it to be fun for them too and a memorable night for everyone.

The flowers were designed by Lidia Sadoun of La Fleuriste. I came up with the idea to do the large flowering cherry blossoms on the dessert buffet because I knew they would make a huge visual impact. I worked with Enhanced Lighting and Sound to choose fuchsia and black paper lanterns which were lit up by LED lights.

Everyone loved the La Tavola Linens, especially the hot pink sequin linens we used on the 12′ dessert table. The black cake stands also added a fun vibe to the display. The sweets were from Susie Cakes Bakery, and we got cake pops from Sweet Lauren Cakes.

Favors were Chinese food boxes with fortune cookies that were personalized for the occasion!

Grandma Wise SAYS:

What a beautiful and fanciful party that must have been to celebrate your double blessings! And the fun is just beginning. Did Georgia and Carmen come with instructions? I would like to recommend a great “baby guide book” called “Your New Baby’s Instruction Book” and you can Google the title for more information. It covers the all important first year of life and contains all the stuff new moms and dads want and need to know without being “wordy” or overwhelming. Now babies can come with instructions! The powerful little book gets parents and babies set off on the right track! One pediatrician said the following, “It is perfect for the already sleep-deprived and time-crunched new mom or dad. With wisdom and humor, this book truly celebrates the miracle of watching a child grow.” Congratulations and I wish your family a wonderful life!!!
