Jasmine from The Couture Cakery is back with another fabulous sweets table! This time it’s a pink & green Lollipop-Inspired Dessert Table that was created for a young girl’s birthday party… but I’m pretty sure this table made guests of ALL ages very happy!
And speaking of happy, let’s talk about this fabulous floral arrangement too. I seriously just LOVE this…

In keeping with the theme, The JDK Group came up with this whimsical + clever “lollipop-inspired” design. If you’re feeling crafty, you can follow their lead using round floral foam + flowers, wooden dowels wrapped with floral tape for the “stems”, and a glass vase lined with ti leaves, filled with styrofoam, and covered with moss. Hmmm… I feel a new DIY post coming in the future, because I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to try this at home!
Read on for LOTS more sweet images and dessert table details, as told by Jasmine…

“THE INSPIRATION for the sweets table was a fun pink and green lollipop invitation that was shaped like a round whirly pop, glued to a pop stick, and wrapped in cellophane. The centerpiece of the table was an adorable 2-tier birthday cake decorated with fondant lollipops & flowers!

Candy choices included: gummy apple rings, gummy frogs, gummy pink pigs, yogurt covered raisins, pink & green sour candy, pink & green chocolate gems, and rock candy sticks, all purchased from Weaver Nuts and Candy.

The green/white Twist Up Pops and round pink/white Whirly Pops were purchased from Bulk Candy Store. The whirly pops were personalized with circle cut outs. Fresh kettle corn and hot cocoa popcorn from a local farmers market were a cost-effective way to fill 2 largest apothecary jars.

I designed and created all the tags and labels. I love using the sticky craft-store rhinestones to add a little BLING!

Other handmade treats included: pink chocolate dipped marshmallow pops, chocolate dipped pretzel sticks, iced cookies shaped like candy, gourmet cupcakes with mini fondant flower cut-outs.
