In continuing with the recap of the Festival Du Bebe baby shower, here’s Part 3 – the Favors, Menu, & Activities…
The party favors were fun to put together… Clear plastic boxes were filled with colorful candies, tied with a ribbon and embellished with a 3″ artificial butterfly & personalized Festival Du Bebe favor tag (2 different designs – this one and this one).
I purchased the plastic boxes for the candy at Paper Mart – they’re the Clear Tuck Top Boxes and were only $13.50 for 50 of the 3x3x4″ size (several smaller & larger sizes available too). (more…)
Bird from Bird Crafts created such a fun, vibrant celebration for her wedding anniversary this year! The party had an ultra-colorful “BOLLYWOOD BLING” theme that would actually work great for all kinds of summer celebrations – birthday parties, bridal showers, cocktails parties, etc.
I’m especially loving the giant paper pom poms hanging above the dessert table and the sparkly rhinestone details on the glass candle holders and blue paper elephant cut-outs!
Read on for more fun pics and all the creative party details, as told by Bird… (more…)
Instead of having a “signature drink” at theFestival Du Bebeshower, we had a Signature Drink STATION! This is a fun idea that you could really tailor to any sort of theme or occasion.
To play up the Mardi Gras/Masquerade element of this particular theme, I focused on SPARKLING drinks and COLORFUL containers…
The drink station offered sparkling water, sodas, mini cans of sparkling IZZE, and a DIY Champagne & Cider Bar where guests could choose their favorite mixer (juice or liqueur) then top it with their bubbly of choice (champagne or non-alcoholic sparkling cider) to create their own drink!
I don’t have a full shot of the finished table, but here’s a work-in-progress to give you an idea the set up:
The juice carafes (pictured below) – Blueberry-Pomegranate, O.J., and Cranberry Apple – sat next to the Chambord and were elevated by a free-standing shelf from IKEA. (more…)
I’m so excited to share this party with you! This is a masquerade/carnival-inspired baby shower – dubbed “Festival Du Bebe” – that I created for my close friend Jen earlier this year to celebrate the pending arrival of her new baby boy (who has since arrived… healthy & adorable!).
When everything was spread out around our house in the last few days before the party I pretty much felt like a kid in a candy store… feathers, rhinestones, giant butterflies, flowers, champagne, monkey statues, loads of candy…oh yes, it was definitely a happy place!
Since there are LOTS of pictures to share – thanks to gracious & talented photographerJillian Bisinger – I’m going to break this feature into 2 parts. We’ll cover the tables & party decor here in Part 1, and the food & drinks, party favors, and activities in Part 2.

Remember the days when the typical wedding invitation consisted of some sort of fancy script stamped in gold or silver on a simple background of white (or maybe even off-white, if you wanted to get crazy!)? Wow…. have times changed!
The wedding invitation suites available today are so UNIQUE and creative – and the great thing about that is that couples can pick a design that truly reflects their own style & personality. Case in point: check out these fabulous designs from minted.com. Pictured here are just a few favorites from the literally hundreds of eye-catching invite collections available (from some seriously talented designers!):
In celebration of Independence Day, here are a few more free printables that coordinate with the Patriotic Drink Parasols posted earlier – including 2 party signs for the food & beverage tables and a set of 6 place cards/labels).

In continuing with Part 1 of the “Summer Bicycle Inspired” wedding created by My Bride Story & team – here’s a recap of the “LOVE IS SWEET” DIY Ice Cream Station, as told by Esther:
“Kayla’s Kakesalso came on board to create a one of a kind ice cream station, which couldn’t have been more fitting for this summer wedding. Don’t you think the white fence made for a perfect backdrop?! It was originally from my home, and Kayla had a handyman construct a backdrop from it especially for this wedding.
We also hand-picked our ice-cream scooper/high schooler (ha!). He scooped vanilla and strawberry ice-cream for each of the guests, then they got to add their own favorite toppings from a selection of choices that included sprinkles, coconut flakes, marshmallows, almonds, and a variety of fruits.”
Below are several fun shots of the Ice Cream Station, which also included an ADORABLE cake and fabulous signage/labels by Posh Paperie… (more…)
Esther Kim from My Bride Story Weddings & Events recently sent over pics from this fabulous “Summer Bicycle Inspired” wedding that she created… doesn’t it look like so much FUN?!
Along with the help of some talented vendors, Esther transformed the church courtyard where the wedding took place into a colorful, whimsical “playground” complete with GORGEOUS flower arrangements and playful bicycle and pinwheel accents.
There’s so much eye candy to be shared, so I decided to break the feature into 2 parts. Feast your eyes on the gorgeous flowers & decor here in Part 1… and then in Part 2 (coming later today), we’ll showcase the fabulous “Love is Sweet” Ice Cream Station by Kayla’s Kakes.
Patty from Corona, CA sent over these pictures of a Twilight dinner party that she recently co-hosted, utilizing the HWTM Twilight printables and New Moon printables as party decor. It’s seriously so much fun to see the printables in use at your parties – I just love it!! (Free Eclipse quotes and party embellishments are available now too.)
Anyways, I thought this party turned out great and wanted to post it for anyone looking for last-minute Eclipse party inspiration…I know that several of you are hosting pre- and post-movie parties starting tomorrow night and all throughout the week. Have fun!

I’m loving this mod new Flora dinnerware from Jonathan Adler… the playful tumblers alone make me want to throw a pool party! And made from durable melamine & acrylic, it’s perfect for outdoor summer entertaining.
Lean towards even brighter colors yourself? Check out JA’s cool Kaleidoscope collection, which is available in both pink/orangeand blue/green:
Included here are 2″ Circular Party Embellishments (perfect for cupcake toppers, napkin rings, vase decorations, etc.) and Rectangular Party Favor Tags (sized at 3.5 x 2″). The designs coordinate with the look of the Eclipse Party Quotes posted earlier.
The Circular Party Embellishments contain 4 different designs and are set up 12 to a page. You’ll need a 2″ craft circle punch to create the finished circles. (Cut the sheet into columns before using the punch – it’s the easiest way to trim them out!)
And here are the Rectangular Favor Tags – 8 different designs set up 8 per page:
Each of the tags is labeled with an Eclipse-themed word + “treats” (i.e. vampire treats, newborn treats, wolf treats, etc). I wasn’t 100% sure how to label them at first, but thought the word “treats” would work well for a wide variety of party favors – from “vampire red” lip gloss to edible goodies. Any type of free gift is a treat! =)
Below is a close-up view of the rectangular favor tag designs & the circle embellishments – and links to download everything in high-resolution format are at the bottom of the post…
As promised, here are the new PRINTABLE PARTY DECOR QUOTES for Eclipse!
There are 15 high-resolution quotes total– 5 quotes each from Bella, Edward, and Jacob. Each group of 5 includes one 8×10 and four 5×7’s. *Update 6/24: The quotes are available in both high-res jpeg and PDF formats now!
You can check out all of the designs and find links to download everything below.
**I definitely recommend printing these at a commercial print shop like Kinkos for best quality – especially due to the heavy ink coverage.**

I’ve received loads of requests for new party printables for Eclipse (similar to the New Moon and Twilight printables) over the past few months and it’s one of those things that’s been on the to-do list for soooo long!
Seeing as June 30th is LITERALLY around the corner suddenly (where did the year go?!!)… I’m determined to get these done for you guys over the weekend so they’re available for download by Monday.
I want to make sure to get to the most important stuff though – so if you’re on the lookout for these or planning to host a pre/post-movie party, please let me know which Eclipse quotes are most important to you – and what other type of printable you’d be interested in using as well – napkin rings, drink charms, etc… You can post them here or send them via our Suggestions page.
I won’t be able to get to everything, but will do my best to make sure the most requested quotes/items are included.
Along with colorful ideas for table settings, centerpieces, and food & drink presentation, you’ll find free downloadable printables for all of the drink parasols, place cards and framed signs used in this theme.
This theme is all abouteasy-breezy entertaining and can be used for all sorts of summer celebrations – from graduation parties and pool/beach themed parties to patriotic celebrations like Memorial Day or 4th of July.
Most of the non-paper elements were purchased at Target and IKEA. I’m especially loving these tiny translucent glass vases currently sold in 3-packs at IKEA for only $4.99: (more…)

Since the World Cup is being hosted in South Africa this year, the kids party collection includes some classic South African inspired touches like the giant glasses that are traditionally worn by fans at South African matches and vuvuzelas: colorful horns that are blown by supporters.
A few shots of the kids table/party are above, and here’s a peek at the sweets buffet… scroll down for LOTS more pics of both set-ups!
I’m seriously blown away by the level of creativity in this adorable Woodland Fairy Birthday Party created by Kate Landers Events, LLC!

Party overview from Caroline: “The birthday boy is a HUGE LAKERS FAN!! The entire color scheme was purple and gold, with suspended ornaments over the dinner table, purple & gold flowers, purple & gold linens, a basketball cake, digital scoreboard looking menus… not a detail was missed.
Appetizers were served in cute little spoons and dinner was a 5 course tasting menu that included a beautiful presentation of quail breast on puff pastry. The Photobooth images also printed out in a creative way that coordinated with the theme.”
With the Lakers in the NBA Finals right now, this theme is especially timely… but Lakers fan or not, there’s no denying that those renown purple & gold jerseys inspired a truly stunning celebration for this milestone birthday!
Check out TONS of additional images & vendor resources below… (more…)
So…being a jewelry fanatic myself, I have to admit that I’m already envious of whoever wins today’s SURPRISE GIVEAWAY! That lucky someone is going to win a generous $150 Shopping Spree on jewelry by Foxy Originals – and there are some seriously fabulous designs to choose from in necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets & more…
Founded by Jen Kluger and Suzie Orol, Ontario-based Foxy Originals is all about “unique and playful jewelry pieces that help young women everywhere find their own way to sparkle and shine – without breaking the bank.” Added bonus: check out their eco-friendly attitude.
These Koi Goldfish Cupcakes are seriously WAY too cute!! Another genius idea from the gurus behind Hello, Cupcake!, this design is actually from their follow up (and equally fabulous) book: What’s New, Cupcake?.
The fish – which are made from those squishy orange circus peanuts, orange peanut butter M&M’s, brown M&M’s Minis, vanilla frosting as the “glue”, and orange cereal O’s (Fruit Loops or Apple Jacks) – sit on top of light blue-frosted cupcakes.
The cupcakes are displayed on top of blue & white paper circles (with blue & white M&Ms sprinkled around) for a fun “Koi Pond” look.
As cute as these cupcakes would be for a kids party, I think adults would appreciate them just as much, and I can’t imagine a more perfect dessert idea for a “Kissing Fish” (or “Of All the Fish in the Sea…”) bridal shower or engagement party theme!
So… using the cupcakes as inspiration, here are some more ideas for this theme:
This fabulous Retro Surfer Birthday Party sent in by Kate from Australia-based I Love Parties is full of so many creative details!

Such a perfect theme for summer parties too…
