The inspiration for this Sugar Plum Fairy Nutcracker dessert table came from the children’s book The Nutcracker by Emma Helbrough. This version of the Nutcracker highlights the “Land of Sweets“.

I used a gorgeous Lavender Crinkled Charmeuse fabric for the backdrop, and draped the table in soft White Fleece to resemble “snow”. The presence of the Nutcracker Prince was very apparent as one stood guard at each end of the “Land of Snow“.

White Chocolate Shimmering Ballet Shoes in Iridescent Wands displayed in a bed of snow stole the show!

Beautiful sugar cookies made with edible images showcased the sweet Sugar Plum Fairy:

Pink edible snowflakes and pink glittered-nosed reindeer garnished the table and cupcakes.

Colorful snowflake & Christmas tree fondant toppers, white chocolate covered pretzels, and Candy Kisses also helped to bring our Sugar Plum Fairy Nutcracker dream to life!”
