REAL PARTIES: Vintage Toys Birthday

REAL PARTIES: Vintage Toys Birthday

This Vintage Toys Birthday Party is just way too cute… and clever!

Created by Lindsey of Bella Grace Party Designs – who found her inspiration in a line of retro storybooks – the party is full of nostalgic details like jacks (used for napkin rings!), old-fashioned stick candy, sock monkeys, wooden blocks, and other vintage-style toys. You’ll even find retro striped straws in the milk & cookie bar’s “milk shooters“!

REAL PARTIES: Vintage Toys Birthday

This Vintage Toy Party was inspired by the Dick and Jane storybooks, and of course, all of the fun they used to have. I think even Dick and Jane would have been excited to attend this party! I am in love with all of the details, and thrilled with how Courtney Vickers Photography captured everything…

Dick and Jane matted book pages were purchased online at TagNwag Books to really show off the party inspiration.

How about this super fun centerpiece?! Most of the toys you will see were found at Target in their amazing vintage toy section.

Here is a shot of one of my favorite details. I love how the napkin rings embellished with jacks turned out!

Adorable snack cups filled with cotton candy were designed by Paper and Pigtails. These are customizable and available for purchase in their etsy shop.

Here are a few close up shots of the toys and a place setting that I took with my own camera because I just couldn’t get enough of the cuteness:

These “Old Fashioned Soda Pop” labels and water bottle labels were another great design from Paper and Pigtails.

Now what would a Vintage Party be without some old fashioned milk and cookies? I wanted a dessert table that was affordable but also fit the theme perfectly.

I couldn’t resist snapping a few more photos once I saw the adorable milk and cookie bar come to life.  These great striped vintage straws were purchased from Modern Lola but can also be found at HeyYoYo.

But of course, I moved out of Courtney’s way so she could capture these next fabulous images of the dessert table!

I made the cupcakes myself and wrapped them in red polka dot cupcake wrappers from HeyYoYo. The cupcake toppers were of course designed by Paper and Pigtails and they couldn’t have looked cuter on these sweet treats!

Now lets talk about a woman of many talents… Kori, my partner in Paper and Pigtails, isn’t just amazing at graphic design artwork, but she also painted these letters and did a fantastic job!

Before the end of the party, I snapped this shot of these fun little loot bags from HeyYoYo. Each guest filled them up with goodies before leaving for home.

Check out this fun bicycle cake topper… another great find from HeyYoYo.
