REAL PARTIES: Orange Kites Birthday

It’s always so great to see an outside-the-box party theme, like this playful “Orange Kites” birthday bash that Elizabeth from Posh Paperie created for her daughter Hailey’s 3rd birthday…

From an absolutely adorable orange kite birthday banner and playful kite-motif invitations to clever theme-coordinating elements like  floating orange balloons and wind-driven pinwheels in the centerpieces, Elizabeth did such a great job at bringing her unique theme to life!

“What 3 year old girl *loves* orange?! Mine.

So…i came up with a kite theme…{what else do you do with orange?}

We had the party at a park…the perfect place for flying kites!

After searching high and low – 5 stores to be exact – i found all things orange for the party… including orange decorations (balloons, banner, treat bags, etc.) and orange food & drinks.

Drinks included: Orange Crush soda, O.J. juice boxes, Gatorade Orange, and custom-labeled water bottles with a kite & sky motif…

All of the paper goods – including the banner, signage, invitations, water bottle labels, and favor tags – are from Posh Paperie.

Custom cupcakes that matched the paper goods were the perfect finishing touch…

The birthday girl was decked out in head-to-toe in orange (of course!)… even her fingers matched! =)

I even found a custom hair clip on Etsy that was an orange kite for Hailey’s hair!

And every birthday outfit needs a pair of fabulous coordinating shoes…”
