REAL PARTIES: Fairy Garden Birthday

REAL PARTIES: Fairy Garden Birthday

This new Real Party has got to be one of the cutest Fairy-inspired parties ever! And this is not at all surprising, considering it was put together by the ultra-creative Kim of The TomKat Studio for her daugher Kate’s 3rd birthday.

A gorgeous paisley-print fabric and “happy” color palette of vibrant pink, orange, yellow, and green sets the tone for this whimsical party, which manages to be simultaneously cute enough for little girls AND stylish enough to appeal to adults!

(I’m sensing come great girlie baby shower inspiration here too… especially with the fabulous “tutu branch” centerpiece!)

Special bonus: Kim has also offered to do a GIVEAWAY for HWTM readers, featuring several elements from this party so that a lucky someone can recreate it at home! See details on how to enter at the bottom of the post.

REAL PARTIES: Fairy Garden Birthday

“We decided on a Fairy Garden theme for my daughter Kate’s 3rd birthday party based on her love for Tinkerbell and all things magical.

I was inspired by other fabulous “fairy” themed parties seen on HWTM, including this one (Fairy Sweet) and this one (Enchanted Fairy) along with a few other ideas I was dreaming about!

For me, the party planning always starts with designing the invitation. I had my friend, Jess create the little fairy silhouette illustration for me, and then I designed the invitation in the bright, cheerful color scheme of pink, orange, yellow & green.

I carried the silhouette & butterflies throughout the paper goods for the party, including cupcake toppers and dessert table labels.

The dessert table was accented with gorgeous bright paisley fabric, poms and a hand-cute butterfly garland.

Bright colored butterflies, flowers and poms were hung throughout the house and outside.

Inspired by HWTM, I created a centerpiece for my living room, using branches cut from my tree the day before, along with tissue paper flowers.

Kate wore a beautiful white tutu accented with ribbon in the party colors, along with a custom flower tank top from Modern Frills, flower hair clippies from Dolce Vita Mia, a crown from True Love Found, and fairy wings. She was a gorgeous little fairy!

As the little girl guests arrived, they were greeted and led to get dressed up in their own tutus, wings & wands. The girls were adorable!

For an activity, all of the kids were given butterfly nets, and tulle “butterflies” were thrown from a second story window for them to catch!
