Halloween BITES: Creepy Jigglers/Shooters

Halloween BITES: Creepy Jigglers/Shooters

Here’s a fun Halloween party idea that can be tailored to adults OR kids… Jello Jiggler “Bites” or “Shots” with gummy body parts trapped inside! I tried this idea both ways; the orange jigglers were non-alcoholic and the yellow ones were the “cocktail” version – utilizing water and vodka – and both worked out great!

Halloween BITES: Creepy Jigglers/Shooters

You could do the “trapped gummy” thing with regular jello shots (served from shot glasses or plastic cups), but the “edible” idea sounded especially appropriate for a jiggler/shot that calls for a gummy candy inside… and I also love the idea of serving them up in neat rows on trays, “appetizer style“!

Halloween BITES: Creepy Jigglers/Shooters

All you need to recreate these are Gummy Body Parts – or another creepy gummy candy like gummy spiders or rats, plus jello and water.  Full recipes below, (adapted from Kraft).

The best thing for these is the plastic souffle cups. Pour the liquid into them and the refrigerate. When cool pop the lids on & pass them out.

This is an AWESOME idea for kids and Adults! :)

Quick question though…shouldnt we pour the jello mixture into the pan prior to putting in the gummy candy? That way then they will stay where you want them in the pan??

I’d love to see these in a big glass jar, like specimens to pull out. Great idea with color-coding them, too! :)

These are so cute. I actually want to make them for Halloween without seeing this post and we ordered our “ghoulish” candy from the site below. They have candy body parts, blood and even eyeballs like in the picture. The eyeballs are the best I must admit.
