My favorite budget tip is to just use items that you already have, buy one great item that pulls the party together, and then add to it with inexpensive handmade details like pom poms.

Budget tip for entertaining?? THEMED POTLUCK – ask your close friends to bring dishes that fit into your themed menu… italian, fingerfoods, whatever! That way you save money on feeding the crowd, and you can splurge on things like the FABULOUS candelabra from Social Couture!!

My favorite is the breast cancer awareness party. I was looking for stuff like this for my friend who is almost cancer free and we were going to throw a good-bye cancer party!

I always like color themes so (this would be a great giveaway) but I typically run through the entire house looking for anything and everything in that color and then try to make some kind of center piece thats unique and interesting without being trashy

I love the Halloween – Frightful Night theme, but maybe it’s because I bought a bunch of Halloween decor after the season for a party I want to throw next year!

I use mother nature for center pieces during holidays and parties. I have small basket and put pine cones in it with color christmas balls as an example.

Love the Asian Affair party! The bright orange and green color palette is fantastic!

I also have a Friends Thanksgiving every year and everyone brings a dish to create the entire meal. Saves on the total cost and is fun to have everyone participate in the cooking.

Our group has “Progressive” suppers where one course is served at a house and then everyone moves on to another house for the next course. It’s lots of fun!

My favorite budget tip: Use a couple of vases of varying heights and fill with fruit for a modern and colorful centerpiece! And when you’re done, hopefully you’ll eat the fruit. Tasty and pretty all in one!

I just love the Black vine party especially with the green moss accents. Have been wanting to get some black and white plates. At halloween, I did all black and white instead of traditional orange. It was gorgeous!

i would rather have amazing food than glamorous decor, of course both is ideal, but on a budget always err on the side of food

I love having people over during the summer for a BBQ. As a way to keep the costs down I ask each guest to bring either a side dish or a dessert. It is amazing how creative people are when they only have to bring one thing. I’ve gotten some great recipes this way and we always have a good time.
