Not sure why this is happening, but we’ll be creating a separate photo album with all the entries on Facebook soon so that EVERYONE can see all of the pics!

Is there any way to get the directions or website where you found the DIY martini snowflake glass charms.
I am new at this and sure where to search.
Thank you in advance!

The “Holiday In The City” pic is fabulous!

Hi Tenille –
The person that submitted that photo gave a little bit of info on the picture over at the gallery. Here’s the direct link:

She says they’re scrapbook stickers – but they look like they might have been embellished with adhesive rhinestones. In any case, I’ve seen something similar at Michaels, and I’ll post a comment on the pic and see if she has the exact purchasing info. Keep you posted :)

The Holiday in the City table is beautiful. Were professional decorators allowed to enter?

Mona SAYS:

Exquisite!! Holiday in the City has my vote. If this person doesn’t do this professionally, they should.

Tyrone SAYS:

I vote for the Holiday in the City. Does this person have a company? I would like to hire them.

jenn s. SAYS:

Yep – we didn’t restrict who could enter the contest because the ultimate goal for having this contest is to create a huge gallery full of holiday decorating inspiration for people to reference all in one spot – so we wanted to leave it open to everyone. You might be surprised who is and isn’t a “pro” though! ;)

As for the voting – that will open up to readers when the finalists are announced Wednesday at noon!

I posted the Holiday in the city pics. I am not a professional decorator. I hosted a dinner party and a friend of mine who was familiar with HWTM suggested that I enter the contest. Thanks.

I have logged into Flikr as suggested but I still only see one pic for the top entry. Are there more pictures? If there are more, how can I access them? I have gone through the website and I see several for others but only one for this one. Am I missing something?

December 15, 2008 at 5:31 pm

jenn s. SAYS:

Hi Bingkychic –
Do you mean you only see one pic for the entire gallery or one pic for the top image in this post – the “holiday in the city” picture?

If it’s the latter – there are actually 3 images for that entry, and as of now they’re on the bottom of the first page:

Here’s a direct link to just those 3 images as well:

If you’re not able to see pics in the gallery in general, let me know and I’ll try to help you figure out what’s happening.

Bingkychic SAYS:

Thank you Jenn S.

Those pics are pretty. Unfortunately, these additional pics are not showing in the gallery showing pics for all of the entries. It would be a shame to miss some of the entry pics. Great contest!

I’m not familiar with Flikr but it appears it doesn’t capture all of the info the webmaster may have intended. That’s unfortunate.

Checked out the contest entries this morning and there are so many all of a sudden! Everything looks so cool!

bingkychic SAYS:

When will viewers be able to vote for their favorite decoration? Will there be a voting button or something? This is so cool and exciting. Sort of like the decoration contest shows on the tele but this time we get to participate!

December 16, 2008 at 8:31 am

jenn s. SAYS:

Yep! Starting Wednesday afternoon, readers will be able to vote on the top 10 finalists – so you guys will pick the top 3 winners! Details on how to vote will be in the post, which goes up at noon PST. :)

Where are other pictures for Holiday in the City?
or is that the only one?

December 16, 2008 at 8:45 am

bingkychic SAYS:

Thanks Jenn

Still don’t see the other pics in the gallery for that first person’s entry (Holiday in the City). I really like that one. I will be sure to vote tomorrow!

P.S. thanks for your speedy responses and assistance. Happy holidays!
