As much as I love magazines, I can’t think of the last time I spotted one from across the room and decided right then and there to buy it without even flipping through a single page… until last Friday.
Kudos to the creative team behind the cover of bon appétit‘s August issue! And not to worry, there’s good stuff inside too!

i did the exact same thing!! i am totally addicted to buying magazines, but i rarely pick up bon appetit. there was just something pretty delicious going on with that cover. :)
This came in the mail and I thought the same thing. Has to be one of the best food magazine covers ever – just made my mouth water. I took it to a doctor’s appointment to read in the waiting room and saw several folks staring at it even.
That issue sits on the corner of my desk. And we do not have to feel bad since ice cream is good dessert option. I read yesterday that ice cream releases its sugar gradually into your blood after you’ve eaten it. Therefore, you’re not left desperately craving for more. That is the theory anyway :-)
Wow, I thought the complete opposite. I thought the lighting was horrific. And the gobs of half melted ice cream looks really bad. I used to love that magazine and I actually think it has really gone down hill in the last year.
