GroBal: Cultivate Style

grobal Good news for those of us with "not-exactly-green" thumbs! GroBal and GroBal Baby are stylish, ultra-modern planters with a unique watering system that does the work for you… just check the water filter indicator and refill when needed! Thanks to GroBal designer Karim Rashid, my houseplants might stand a chance at staying lush and green after all. ;)

Grobal Baby : $14.99 / GroBal : $24.99 at Velocity

*Great idea for hostess gifts, housewarming gifts, mother’s day gifts, or stylish centerpieces and party decor.

Cupcakes and Cutlery SAYS:

This is awesome! I used to think I was only meant to have cacti, but now, the potential of growing my own basil is a possibility. This is going on my birthday list for sure!

At Home with Kim Vallee SAYS:

If you are on vacation, it is also easier for people to take care of your plants while you are away.

Cupcakes and cutlery: a tip for growing healthy fresh Mediterranean herbs is to wait until the dirt is dried before watering again. My rule of thumb is if they look fresh and stand tall, I check back the next day. I do not have a green thumb but I am very successful with herbs.

I can grow anything out of doors, but kill my houseplants with kindness- too much water! This is a great idea, and he(Karim Rashid) makes really innovative design products that you can actually use!
