If you are on vacation, it is also easier for people to take care of your plants while you are away.
Cupcakes and cutlery: a tip for growing healthy fresh Mediterranean herbs is to wait until the dirt is dried before watering again. My rule of thumb is if they look fresh and stand tall, I check back the next day. I do not have a green thumb but I am very successful with herbs.
I can grow anything out of doors, but kill my houseplants with kindness- too much water! This is a great idea, and he(Karim Rashid) makes really innovative design products that you can actually use!
