Rolo Turtle Pretzels

Quick Jump To » Comments

rolo turtle pretzelsThese tempting Rolo Pretzel Turtles from Steamy Kitchen have 2 of my very favorite attributes in a recipe: 1. Sweet 2. EASY! (The presence of both caramel and chocolate doesn’t hurt either!) Click here for the delightfully simple details.

These are great! I’ve also made them with Hershey Kisses. (There are lots of flavor options here.) I also don’t use pecans (because I don’t like them) but we just add another preztel on top! Fast, easy and yummy!

ooh yes, I’ve had those! I think they may even have been promoted at weight watchers as a slightly better alternative to the usual turtles you buy…

mmm, makes me hungry just looking at them!

These are so yummy – I made them at Christmas with square pretzels – the trick is to NOT heat them too long

I made these for coworkers during the holidays and got many, many thank you cards :)
note: I had a little trouble finding rolos at first, and substituted one batch with hershey’s kisses with caramel…BAD idea. they didn’t melt the way Rolo’s do and were not as attractive.
