I recently threw a shower for a neighbor and we played a great game. Using only the letters from the parent’s names, we had to come up with potential names for the new baby. Amazingly enough, we actually came up with the name they used- Soren!

That looks really cool! My sister-in-law made a “diaper cake” for my shower and it was SO cute and I got a package of newborn diapers.
Looks like a fun way to get me through the next 8 months or so…I think it’s always great to get something totally luxurious for the baby at a baby shower. One of the cutest gifts I’ve ever seen was the sweetest pair of pink Ugg boots for a little baby! Hilarious!
I love a bubble gum theme for a baby shower! Lots of floating colored “bubble gum balls”, and bright colors! Of course, an old fashioned bubble gum machine. Great for boys or girls. And I LOVE these calendars!

I have thrown a couple showers and love to do it. I do hate when people don’t RSVP though :) You put so much work into it and would love to get responses if people are coming or even not coming. It’s good to know either way.
At every single one of my 5 baby showers, the guests had to guess how big my belly was. Kind of fun, but it’s definitely tiresome to have people guess how big around you are- even if there is a baby in there! My favorite though: my husband’s grandma guessed that my waist was 18 inches!! Maybe when I was 5! :)
