  174. Briggie says:

what I wish for everyone this holiday is to not be bogged down with stress or worry over the materialistic aspect of the holiday but rather enjoy being able to spend time with their family, friends and loved ones. Make it a homemade Christmas and consider doing a family Pollyanna. I know in this day and age it’s all about getting the kids the latest video games or designer clothes and how many presents are under the tree – but when it’s all said and done, those “things” break or lose their luster and fade away and what is really remembered is the fun, laughter and time spent together. Take care, God bless and may the peace that only He can bring be with you all.

Our neighbors to be known and invited for dinner, and for those we don’t know, I hope for each of us to feel safe enough to open our hearts and homes, to allow for vulnerable, to take more risks and relish our rewards. A world free of static cling, impatience, and recklessness of the heart, where pretty stationery affords us each the opportunity to share such wishes with the ones we love.
