Earth Day is this Sunday, April 22…so it seems fitting to celebrate with a Surprise Giveaway from Zanisa – a fantastic company that strives to be a friend to the environment year-round. Beautiful! I love lazy Susans, and this one is gorgeous!
I love it!
My easy green tip:
Make sure your car tires are properly inflated!
“Tires have a bigger impact on the environment than you might think. Did you know 50 to 80 percent of tires are underinflated? Underinflated tires waste up to five percent of a car’s fuel. How much fuel would we save if we properly inflated our tires? Up to two billion gallons a year!”

love the bowls! we usually do a selection of olives as an appetizer and these would be perfect!

just beautiful!! i love the wood with the white bowls.
my green tip is an extension of doug’s, almost everything that is plugged in but off still uses energy (TV, computer, coffee maker), plug them into power strips and turn the power strips off when you aren’t using them! (this is easier than unplugging everything)
I really like this. When we were growing up, my mom always used to say she needed a really LARGE lazy susan for nights when we had ordered Chinese take-out because there were five of us and we were all grabbing for different items. 20 years later she still doesn’t have one, so even though this is a small one, I would give it to her! She would love it for old times’ sake plus it’s really beautiful.
Ohh, this is absolutely wonderful! I love Zanisa products. Their designs are so chic and clasy, and this lazy susan is perfect for those evenings when I meet with my girlfriends for gossip and munchies! I can already tell it’ll be the conversation starter! :)
i love everyone’s tips!! my biggest tip is just try to conserve your water use and turn out the lights/unplug what you can when you are not using them! :)
i cannot even say how much I am in love with that lazy susan! *crossing fingers*
.♥.
I really, really need this for a baby shower i have coming up….. great idea for snacks!
too cute! we try to recycle as much as we can in our house. hopefully we’ll be able to build a green house someday soon!
I love this, so fun!
It would be perfect for the family reunion picnic we are hosting at our house–we are just trying to find enough space to serve everything!
Perfect – beautiful and good for the environment too!
i can’t wait to entertain with those!

for a dime a day, they will stop any unwanted postal junk mail so that you receive only the catalogs that you want. and a tree will be planted for you every month! makes a great present for green-minded people as well.
I love this set! It would be perfect for my new apartment’s housewarming party!
Beautiful lazy susan! It would be perfect for parties.
My green tip: Lower your thermostat down to 64. It actually isn’t really that cold once you get accustomed to it. And if you get a little chilly, it is just a good excuse to snuggle up with someone! Plus it saves a ton of money!
Eggs. They look like delicate egg shells, used in the homes of royalty, where there’s staff enough to create such delicacies. I’d fill one with spinach feta dip, another with pita crisps, another with Parmesan chips.
Alternatively, you can fill them with office supplies and put them on your desk. How mod.
OR, fill each “egg” with crafts for a children’s play day. Marbles, curled pipe cleaners, jax, pom poms. Great for projects and keeping busy.
